Angst is een emotie, waar je normaal gesproken blij mee bent. Angst waarschuwt je voor gevaar. Als je last hebt van overmatige angst, ben je minder blij. Overmatige angst is een ongewenste angst. Het kan het leven behoorlijk zuur maken. In mijn boek beschrijf ik mijn ontdekkingen en ervaringen met angst. Sterke angst beleven en overwinnen was een voorwaarde om dit boek te kunnen schrijven en ik heb die sterke angst beleefd en overwonnen. Ik beschrijf een andere en nieuwe kijk op de kernoorzaak van angst. Een kijk die mij volledig heeft bevrijd. Ik beschrijf dat er maar één oorzaak is voor alle angsten. Deze stelling onderbouw ik zeer zorgvuldig, omdat ik je wil overtuigen. Het kennen van de kernoorzaak maken een eind aan je voortdurende analyseren, het maakt een definitief einde aan je angsten. Why are honour killings and honour-related violence (HRV) so important to understand? What do such crimes represent? And how does HRV fit in with Western views and perceptions of Islam?
