Modern Missile Guidance written by Rafael Yanushevsky and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-09-20 with Technology & Engineering categories.

Written by an expert with more than 30 years of experience, Modern Missile Guidance contains new analytical results, obtained by the author, that can be used for analysis and design of missile guidance and control systems. This book covers not just new methods nor is it merely a compilation of older methods, although it includes both. The book discusses, in a logical progression, with its clear elucidation of the guidance laws, the entire field from missile dynamics to modeling and testing missile guidance and control systems. In contrast to existing books that discuss very simple and often unrealistic guidance system models, this book presents missile guidance models that describe more precisely the dynamics of the missile flight control system, making analytical results more effective in practice. The analysis of missile guidance system models in the time-domain and in the frequency-domain allows the generation of different guidance laws that supplement each other. Taking modern, rigorous approach that leads to improved performance in missile guidance applications, the book examines new guidance laws, and corresponding algorithms for generating and testing these laws, and includes effective new software programs developed by the author. The author provides an innovative presentation of the theoretical aspects of modern missile guidance that quite possibly cannot be found in any other book. It delineates new ideas that, once crystallized, will significantly improve missile systems performance.

Tactical Missile Design written by Eugene L. Fleeman and has been published by AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics) this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2001 with Guided missiles categories.

This is the first textbook offered for tactical missile design. It is oriented toward the needs of aerospace engineering students, missile engineers, and missile program managers. It is intended to provide a basis for including tactical missile design as part of the aerospace engineering curriculum, providing new graduates with the knowledge they will need in their careers. The author's decades of experience in the development of tactical missiles and their technologies is presented in an integrated handbook method for missile design. It uses simple closed-form analytical expressions that are physics-based to provide insight into the primary driving parameters. The text also provides example calculations of rocket-powered and ramjet-powered baseline missiles, typical values of missile parameters, examples of the characteristics of current operational missiles, discussion of the enabling subsystems and technologies of tactical missiles, and the current/projected state of the art of tactical missiles. Included with the text is a CD-ROM containing electronic versions of the figures; 15 videos showing examples of loading missiles, pilot actions, flight trajectories, countermeasures, etc.; and configuration sizing methods.

Tactical Missile Guidance written by Curtis Mracek and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-08-15 with categories.

Tactical Missile Guidance is a graduate level engineering textbook. A number of books are available that cover the same topic but none, to my knowledge, provide the details of producing a practical design. This book covers the entire design process in great detail. Throughout the book, examples and code listings are included which support the conclusions presented. Guidance designers have been producing good designs for years but I'm afraid the key knowledge will be lost or forgotten. This book is an attempt to capture that knowledge. It also contains some original material that might be useful in future developments. Though the entire focus of the book is tactical missile guidance, many of the methods detailed apply directly to robotics.

Missile Guidance, Second Edition provides a timely survey of missile control and guidance theory, based on extensive work the author has done using the Lyapunov approach. This new edition also presents the Lyapunov-Bellman approach for choosing optimal parameters of the guidance laws, and direct and inverse optimal problems are considered. This material is important for readers working in the areas of optimization and optimal theory. This edition also contains updated coverage of guidance and control system components, since the efficiency of guidance laws depends on their realization. The text concludes with information on the new generation of intercept systems now in development.
