At the onset of the Gulf War, God inspired the author with a vision that reveal the tactical secrets of warfare. The author had no previous understanding or exposure to war, military terminology, or warfare strategy. Beyond Enemy Lines is a poignant collection of spiritual revelations of the challenges that confront Believers and the intervention of the Holy Spirit to provide the strategies that set captives free. The book exposes the tactics of the enemy and offers insight into the warfare that occurs daily in all of our lives. The book outlines the Believer's responsibility to go beyond comfort zones into territory where loved ones are spiritually imprisoned. It challenges Believers to cross the line of demarcation into the areas where people are overcome by problems and troubles that paralyze and cripple them. It charges the Believer to become more effective and spiritually equipped to deal with the problems facing families and friends in today's troubled world. And it gives real life tesitmonies of victories. Now as the book is finally released, America is again engaged in war. Beyond Enemy Lines is most relevant for such a time as now.

Beyond The Siege written by Cate Morris and has been published by ITP this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-11-02 with categories.

Beyond the Siege exposes one of the tactics used by the enemy to keep people from reaching out for help, and trap them in patterns of despair and self-destruction. This siege-like tactic ensnares its victims, lie by lie, increasing stress and fear, creating hopelessness, and ultimately leading to destruction. Thankfully, it doesn't end there: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full." (John 10:10 NIV).Hope is found in Jesus. The key to overcoming a siege is to listen to God's voice, refuse Satan's narrative, and walk away. In this book, Cate Morris helps expose the lies that keep us trapped; and how God's truth, joined with our own decisions, becomes an unstoppable force against the enemy. When we agree with God and refuse to cower to the enemy, we discover God's unlimited hope and help for us, our families, and our nations.

Boredom Is The Enemy written by Amanda Laugesen and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-04-15 with History categories.

War is often characterised as one percent terror, 99 per cent boredom. Whilst much ink has been spilt on the one per cent, relatively little work has been directed toward the other 99 per cent of a soldier's time. As such, this book will be welcomed by those seeking a fuller understanding of what makes soldiers endure war, and how they cope with prolonged periods of inaction. It explores the issue of military boredom and investigates how soldiers spent their time when not engaged in battle, work or training through a study of their creative, imaginative and intellectual lives. It examines the efforts of military authorities to provide solutions to military boredom (and the problem of discipline and morale) through the provisioning of entertainment and education, but more importantly explores the ways in which soldiers responded to such efforts, arguing that soldiers used entertainment and education in ways that suited them. The focus in the book is on Australians and their experiences, primarily during the First World War, but with subsequent chapters taking the story through the Second World War to the Vietnam War. This focus on a single national group allows questions to be raised about what might (or might not) be exceptional about the experiences of a particular national group, and the ways national identity can shape an individual's relationship and engagement with education and entertainment. It can also suggest the continuities and changes in these experiences through the course of three wars. The story of Australians at war illuminates a much broader story of the experience of war and people's responses to war in the twentieth century.

Behind Enemy Lines written by James Dean Sanderson and has been published by Pickle Partners Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-07-26 with History categories.

Terror, Torture, Death...It was kill first or be killed for these men who fought their own private hit-and-run war. True accounts of World War II heroic secret raiders whose daring missions behind enemy lines changed the course of the war. Ten accounts of high courage and dedication—stories of the suicidal missions of the World War II. ““Courage knows no nationality"—and it might be added—bounds—which a collection of now-it-can-be-told tales attempts to prove. Mr. Sanderson's stories focus on surpassing daring, audacity and cunning—to match any act of heroism on the field of battle. Usually these intrepid escapades were the work of one ingenious planner; sometimes, however, whole crews engaged in death-defying sorties. The writing catches the spirit of these men with realism and drama, whether the story deals with an incredible plot to kill Rommel (which didn't come off); the disposal of an embryonic Nazi A bomb in Norway in 1943; a "cockleshell" raid along a Nazi-held river; or the grim humor of Britain's only private, "independent" army—Popski's Army, fighting alongside the Tommies in Tunisia.... Good cloak-and-dagger stuff that points up the fact that even the Armed Services had great need of wildly imaginative non-conformists.... For the boys—or men—who are commandos in spirit.”-Kirkus Reviews
