The Equalizer 3 is an American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua.
It is the sequel to The Equalizer 2 and also the third and final installment of The Equalizer trilogy, based on the television series of the same name.
The film stars Denzel Washington, who will reprise his role as retired US Marine and former DIA officer Robert McCall, along with Dakota Fanning, David Denman, Sonia Ammar, and Remo Girone in supporting roles.
Discussions for the third Equalizer film began after the release of the second film on August 2, 2018. The project was officially announced in January 2022. Filming then began on October 10, 2022, at Amalfi Coast in Italy until November 20.
Afterwards, the filming location was moved to Naples in early December, before completing production in January 2023, in Rome.
Robert Richardson served as the cinematographer on the project, having previously worked with Fuqua on Emancipation (2022).
Equalizer 3 is scheduled to be released on September 1, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing.

Plot :
