Fibromyalgia is a pain disorder that occurs in 2-4% of people worldwide. The number of patients suffering from this disorder is enormous, and the appropriate health expenditure is immeasurable. There are several specialties in medicine working in the field of fibromyalgia as Rheumatologists, Orthopedics, Physiatrists, Physiotherapists, Anesthesiologists, Psychiatrists, and Psychotherapists. Contemporary books concerning the management of fibromyalgia are minimal. Also, their writing has classical theoretical orientation in the approved psychopharmacology and Cognitive-behavioral approach. For fibromyalgia universally found the following data factors: 1) Inadequate understanding, 2) The difficulty of treatment, and 3) Insufficient training of therapists and patients, respectively. This book fills a significant extent of all three factors. It contributes substantially to the treatment of fibromyalgia. It expands thorough understanding of this disorder on therapists and patients. The present book entitled “Integrative Manual of Therapy for Fibromyalgia – The panoramic view” composes, unifies, and offers examples of many different psychotherapeutic approaches towards the wishes and needs of patients. Simultaneously the proposed pharmacotherapy is harmonized in the overall clinical psychopathology. Combined deployment of psychotherapy and medication throughout the book achieved in a unique way. For the first time becomes a holistic and comprehensive implementation of the main psychotherapeutic currents in fibromyalgia while the choice of psychotropic drugs done in agreement of the real needs of patients. This manual is the result of thirty years of experience in chronic pain together with twelve years of training and practice in various forms of psychotherapy.
