Training and development is one of the major issues in every organization. It is the only way to develop organizational intellectual property. Through the development of employee knowledge, skills, ability, competencies and performance, training provide benefits to the employees and organization The role of training and development programs and practices empower top managements to construct healthier working environment that improves and increase the level of motivation, commitment and loyalty of employees to their performance. Our study focuses to find out the impact of training and development on nurses’ and technical staffs’ performance and on their work motivation in secondary health care unit as there is scarcity of data related to secondary health care unit. Two hypotheses are analyzed by using convenient sampling technique.. Hypothesis is formulated and tested with different statistical tools in the study. Quantitative research is conducted through Questionnaire which was filled by the nursing and technical staff at Shamsi Hospital. Qualitative research was done by conducting interviews. For quantitative data analysis, I applied reliability, descriptive, linear regression and correlation coefficient through IBM SPSS21.while analyzing qualitative data, I followed transcribing, coding and categorizing steps. Results demonstrate the positive relationship between Independent variable (Training and development) and Dependent Variables (Employee Performance and Work Motivation. Besides the above findings I also found that reward system also affects the motivational level of employees. This book provides an interpretive and critical analysis of Kurdish identity, nationalism and national movement in Turkey since the 1960s. By raising issues and questions relating to Kurdish political identity and highlighting the ideological specificity, diversity and the transformation of Kurdish nationalism, it develops a new empirical dimension to the study of the Kurds in Turkey. Cengiz Gunes applies an innovative theoretical approach to the analysis of an impressively large volume of primary sources and data drawn from books and magazines published by Kurdish activists, political parties and groups. The analysis focuses on the specific demands articulated by the Kurdish national movement and looks at Kurdish nationalism at a specific level by disaggregating the nationalist discourse, showing variations over time and across different Kurdish nationalist organisations. Situating contemporary Kurdish political identity and its political manifestations within a historical framework, the author examines the historical and structural conditions that gave rise to it and influenced its evolution since the 1960s. The analysis also encompasses an account of the organisational growth and evolution of the Kurdish national movement, including the political parties and groups that were active in the period. Bringing the study of the organisational development and growth of the Kurdish National Movement in Turkey up to date, this book will be an important reference for students and scholars of Middle Eastern politics, social movements, nationalism and conflict.

Ekim Devrimi’nden sonra kurulan Jenotdel (1919-1930), Komünist Partisi’nin işçi ve köylü kadınlar arasındaki çalışmalarını örgütleyen birimdi. Sovyetler Birliği coğrafyasında faaliyet göstermekle birlikte, hiç kuşkusuz tüm dünyadaki kadın hareketinin yıllar süren mücadelesinin bir sonucuydu. Sovyetler Birliği’nde Komünist Kadın Hareketi, kadınları özgürleştiren devrimci reformların özellikle Doğu Cumhuriyetlerinde ne büyük tepkiler yarattığını belgelerle ortaya döküyor. Using a synthetic narrative approach, this ambitious work uses the lens of multipolarity to analyze Tang China’s (618–907) relations with Turkestan; the Korean states of Koguryŏ, Silla, and Paekche; the state of Parhae in Manchuria; and the Nanzhao and Tibetan kingdoms. Without any one entity able to dominate Asia’s geopolitical landscape, the author argues that relations among these countries were quite fluid and dynamic—an interpretation that departs markedly from the prevalent view of China fixed at the center of a widespread “tribute system.” To cope with external affairs in a tumultuous world, Tang China employed a dual management system that allowed both central and local officials to conduct foreign affairs. The court authorized Tang local administrators to receive foreign visitors, forward their diplomatic letters to the capital, and manage contact with outsiders whose territories bordered on China. Not limited to handling routine matters, local officials used their knowledge of border situations to influence the court’s foreign policy. Some even took the liberty of acting without the court’s authorization when an emergency occurred, thus adding another layer to multipolarity in the region’s geopolitics. The book also sheds new light on the ideological foundation of Tang China’s foreign policy. Appropriateness, efficacy, expedience, and mutual self-interest guided the court’s actions abroad. Although officials often used “virtue” and “righteousness” in policy discussions and announcements, these terms were not abstract universal principles but justifications for the pursuit of self-interest by those involved. Detailed philological studies reveal that in the realm of international politics, “virtue” and “righteousness” were in fact viewed as pragmatic and utilitarian in nature. Comprehensive and authoritative, Tang China in Multi-Polar Asia is a major work on Tang foreign relations that will reconceptualize our understanding of the complexities of diplomacy and war in imperial China.

“Devlet anayasa ile doğar ve anayasa ile yaşar” deyişi, çağdaş devletlerin “anayasal düzen” kavramı ile tanımlandığını da ortaya koyar. Bu deyiş ve tanım, 1921 Anayasası ile kurulan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti için haydi haydi geçerli. Anayasal düzen, askerî darbe ve müdahale yoluyla zaman zaman kesintiye uğramış olsa da şu iki özellik kayda değer: İlki, yeni bir anayasal düzen kurma hedefi; ikincisi ise geçiş döneminin elden geldiğince düzenleyici kurallar eşliğinde sağlanması. TBMM’deki farklı siyasal çoğunlukların sürekli değiştirdiği ve gözden geçirdiği 1982 Anayasası, yürürlükte kaldığı sürece herkes için “bağlayıcı ve üstün” hukuk normu. Ne var ki, özellikle Ağustos 2014’te cumhurbaşkanının halk tarafından seçilmesiyle birlikte “fiili durum” kavramı sıkça kullanılmaya başladı. Oysa bir hukuk devletinde sadece hukuki durum (de jure), anayasal düzen ile örtüşür; anayasa dışı uygulamalar (de facto) kabul edilemez. Bu ortak yapıt, de jure ve de facto ayrımı çerçevesinde yayılan bilgi kirliliği eşliğinde, siyasal rejimler üzerine toplumda yaratılmak istenen algı operasyonu karşısında uzmanların, “anayasa kamuoyu”nu doğru ve gerçek bilgiye yönlendirme çabası... Bu özelliğiyle kitap, başta seçilmiş siyasetçiler olmak üzere bütün yurttaşlara hitap ediyor. Anayasa yoluyla geleceklerinin ipotek altına alınmaması için özellikle gençlerin okuması gereken bir eser.
