Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Film und Fernsehen, Note: 1,3, Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf (Medien und Kulturwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Serienwelten lesen: Analysen der Gattungsgeschichte und Ästhetik der TV-Serie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Bedürfnis nach einem medialen Text, welches in sich die Skepsis und Misstrauen des Volkes gegenüber seiner Regierung, der "populistischen Paranoia", visuell aufnimmt, hat Chris Carter 1992 mit Hilfe des US-Senders FOX aufgegriffen und verarbeitet. Die resultierende Serie oszilliert in ihrem Wesen zwischen politischen Verschwörungen, metaphysischen Elementen und kriminellen Motiven, und wirkt als eine Projektion jener gesellschaftlichen Unruhen der 90-ger. Sie durchbricht die Grenze zwischen Vernunft und Glauben. Diese Studienarbeit, beschäftigt sich mit der Serie "X- Files", die im Rahmen des Seminars "Serienwelten lesen: Analysen der Gattungsgeschichte und Ästhetik der TV-Serie" ausführlich besprochen wurde. Bei der Analyse dieses medialen Textes beabsichtige ich, mich an der dreigliedrigen Struktur des Referates zu orientieren. Die Studienarbeit wird die gemachten Aussagen theoretisch belegen, in dem hier die Serie dank den Arbeiten Donna Harraways und Laura Mulveys neu beleuchtet wird. Hinzufügen ist noch Folgendes: der Ausgangspunkt für die Analysen werden die beiden FBI- Agenten Mulder und Scully sein, die Nachfolger dieser zwei Hauptdarstelle Doggett und Reyes werden ausgelassen, da der Austausch der Schauspieler eine implizite Änderung des Charakters der Serie bewirkte.
