This important book, the third in the Civil Procedure in Europe series, provides a comparative overview, for 18 European countries, of those areas of recognition and enforcement practice that have not been harmonised by the Brussels and Lugano Conventions. Each country's practice in these areas is described and analysed by a national expert distinguished in the field of civil prodedural law. The contributions are written in either English, French, or German, and are followed by summaries in both remaining languages. Bibliographies are included to enable the reader to locate material for further study. Each national report addresses the following issues sources of law and general principles for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements recognisable judgements conditions for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements; and special proceedings for recognising and enforcing judgements. A comparative contribution by the editors analyzes the similarities and differences between the various European systems. The countries covered are Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. This volume presents new essays on the theory and practice of recognition. In order to retain its overall plausibility as a critical social theory, contemporary recognition theory needs to be able to successfully combine theory with real-life perspectives, in both contemporary and historical contexts. Contemporary recognition theory has developed into an established and active multidisciplinary research programme. The chapters in this volume have two main purposes. First, they engage in theoretical development of the contemporary theories of recognition. They explore the conceptual histories and the environments of recognition, as well as the connection between recognition and authenticity, emancipation, and social ontology. Second, they connect the theoretical insights of contemporary recognition with analyses of contemporary and historical social practices. These contributions explore themes such as populism and polarization, models of harmful invisibilization and social ignorance, the problem of evil and suffering, and social justice phenomena such as the #MeToo movement. Die vorliegende Masterarbeit untersucht den Einfluss sozialer Anerkennung auf das organisationale Commitment. Zu diesem Zweck wird sich im Theorieteil dieser Arbeit mit den wesentlichen Erkenntnissen und Sichtweisen der sozialwissenschaftlichen Theorie und Forschung zum Thema Anerkennung sowie dem Phänomen des organisationalen Commitments befasst. Neben der Auseinandersetzung mit den Begrifflichkeiten wird im Rahmen der Literaturrecherche insbesondere auf die Konzeptualisierungsvorschläge von Anerkennung nach Voswinkel, Frey und Sichler näher eingegangen sowie über die nach aktuellem Stand der Forschung belegten Einflussfaktoren informiert. Um schließlich feststellen zu können, ob soziale Anerkennung in Organisationen zur Stärkung des organisationalen Commitments von Mitarbeitern beiträgt und inwiefern diese die drei Komponenten des organisationalen Commitments im Speziellen beeinflusst, wurde eine quantitative Erhebung unter 233 Mitarbeiter der Branchen Produktion/Industrie, Dienstleistung und Öffentliche Verwaltung durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung werden im Kapitel 7 dieser Arbeit im Detail dargelegt, bevor letztlich im Conclusio die Kernaussagen dieser Arbeit nochmals aufgezeigt werden.*****This Master`s thesis investigates the impact of social recognition on organizational commitment. In this context, the theoretical part of the thesis examines the approaches and findings of social scientific theory and research about recognition as well as the phenomenon of organizational commitment. Apart from terminological considerations, the paper discusses for example the conceptualisation of recognition according to Voswinkel, Frey and Sichler and informs about parameters of organizational commitment which have already been identified in previous studies. The paper aims to determine if social recognition contributes to organizational commitment and how it influences the three components of organizational commitment in particular. For this purpose, a quantitative survey was conducted among a sample of 233 employees from three different sectors, including manufacturing/production, services and public administration. The results of the empirical research are introduced in detail in chapter 7. Finally, the conclusion reviews the key findings of this paper.
