This was done by studying the response from hundreds of thousands of test subjects around the world in order to isolate how certain colors make us feel. Color can have a direct influence on emotion in the moment. This study investigated the phenomenon of color and emotion in artwork in the here and now, assessing if the emotional connection developed is continual or exists only in the moment it is established. The possibility of a connection between viewing the monochromatic artwork created at a later date and the tendency to return to the emotion evoked when viewing the artwork was examined, including if participants were more aware of or sensitive to the color selected in the following week. This qualitative study was completed in a group of five college students, ages 23-30, all studying an art related field. This thesis will review the meaning of color psychology, color history and meaning within a societal context, and the emotions typically related to certain colors. The phenomenological research will serve to examine if there is a lasting awareness of this connection as well as the application of the color and emotion connection in relation to mood regulation in a therapeutic setting.

The field of color categorization has always been intrinsically multi- and inter-disciplinary, since its beginnings in the nineteenth century. The main contribution of this book is to foster a new level of integration among different approaches to the anthropological study of color. The editors have put great effort into bringing together research from anthropology, linguistics, psychology, semiotics, and a variety of other fields, by promoting the exploration of the different but interacting and complementary ways in which these various perspectives model the domain of color experience. By so doing, they significantly promote the emergence of a coherent field of the anthropology of color. As of February 2018, this e-book is freely available, thanks to the support of libraries working with Knowledge Unlatched.

By using the traditional Chinese theories of the Five Elements and Zi Wei Dou Shu, we have explored the interrelationship between our personal elemental colors and their impact on our personal emotion. In order to easily manage this relationship, we have created the simple concept of a personal ID. The personal ID does not represent citizens of a country, but they are rather the number codes that derive precisely from the year, month, day, hour and minute of our births, and take into account the longitude and latitude of the birth place, as well as the true solar time. There are a total of nine numbers. Through these nine numbers, we can balance the five elemental energies to make us complete. The same IDs are also attached to all products. Therefore, you can buy the products that match your elemental requirements. The 109TM app helps you match the Yin and Yang attributes of the Five Elements, and shop from our 109TM online shopping platform.

In reality, “yellow” can have different connotations depending on how it’s used, what color it’s placed next to and what tone of yellow it is. Yellow is not always happy and creative—sometimes, it’s sickly and pale. The yellow in it is very strong—it catches your attention and makes you feel empowered. Combining this yellow with an image of a roaring lion makes an even stronger impact. To better understand why using the right colors is so important in content Treating Colour Blindness, it’s best to first review the basics. Color psychology in Treating Colour Blindness is primarily based on how people feel about color, and that comes from how they experienced color as children and during the transition into adulthood.
