Eschatology is only a part of the total program of God. We need to gain the perspective of God’s plan from everlasting to everlasting. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega—the Beginning and the End. The study of the Second Coming forces the enquirer to reflect on the whole picture of the comprehensive plan of God for the redemption of the world, with a very clear sense of direction from the Creation of the world, through the events of the Cross, through to the Coming of Christ to reign on the earth. To trivialise the Second Coming, is to demean the whole program of God, and to thereby debase my existence and purpose as a Christian. Further, it demeans the whole of God’s revelation through His word the Bible. Unashamedly the Word of God is quoted extensively throughout this book. It is the only authority for the whole scenario of God’s plan. This book is comprehensive in its coverage of the whole spectrum of the Kingdom of God, from the creation to the consummation of the kingdom into the Eternal State. A failure to appreciate God’s original purpose for the creation, emasculates any understanding of the direction and purpose of God’s program. God’s Kingdom is expressed in the Old Testament through His chosen people Israel, and they figure significantly in the whole eschatological program. Jesus’ first Coming to inaugurate His Kingdom gives important perspective to His Second Coming to consummate His Kingdom. The creation of the church as a manifestation of His body, is essential to the understanding of the events of the Rapture and the Bema Judgment in particular.

This book is a written version of my first sermon. It is not a story or an autobiography, so please do not read it as such. It is simply the preached word written in a simple manner for easy reading. As you read it, think of actually being in church and hearing me preach. No, I did not preach this whole book, but I did preach on every subject matter that you will read later on in Galatians chapter 5. When I was a little girl, we played a game called hide-and-seek. Several people could hide in this game at one time, but only one person could seek. The person that was chosen to seek was called IT. Everyone else would hide. As everyone was running to find a hiding place, IT was counting to ten. "One, two, three, four, five." And to make the game a little more fun, or to make you worry a little bit, IT would say, "Five, five and a half, six, seven, eight, nine, ten." You had about ten seconds to find a place to hide. After IT reached the number 10, he or she would cry with a loud voice, " "READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!" Believe me, Jesus will return one day whether you're ready or not. I trust you will be blessed by this word.

Why would I write about this subject when so many have already covered it? Because God has charged me to write it. You have not read my version with my research. With God focusing this much of His Word on this subject, I feel prophecy and its accompanying signs are a must study for Christians. So why believe and teach in a literal return of Jesus Christ? He promised to return for me and all the rest who truly believe in Him. The prophetic accuracy concerning Christ’s first visitation to all of us was faultless. He is faithful; His name is Faithful and True. Besides these main points, the benefits of being part of God’s kingdom now are enormous, but there are future benefits that far outweigh our earthly sufferings. Those benefits await true believers in Christ when He comes to collect His bride, The Church. If I do not meet you here on earth, I hope to meet you in Heaven.
