This logbook was developed by two skippers with many years of experience. It is especially aimed at charter skippers of sailing yachts, which often have beginners on board. The logbook is specially designed so that the logbook entries can be made by several crewmembers - so newbies can be brought closer to nautical content. One of the authors' goals in this book was not to repeat the mistakes made by other log book authors: This logbook is explicitly not aimed at yacht owners, but at charter skippers, which each time drive a different yacht in a different area. This logbook does not include weather maps, but in the internet age the skippers usually use smartphone apps. This logbook does not contain any yatch handling over logs, as these are mostly provided by the charter company. This logbook does not contain excessive crew instructions, assignments of emergency roles or guards - if needed these can be recorded in the large field for comments on a particular day. This logbook contains no synopsis, fill-in examples, and application explanations, and is therefore intended for seasoned charter skippers.
