Both men and women really could not wait around with arms folded, and eyes bowed down modestly, while their elders decided that this boy was suitable for their daughter, and the marriage would be held six months from now. And so the concept of dating came into existence, especially in America. European countries, which were more traditional, took up this idea slowly and in many parts of the East and in Africa, dating is still not a part of traditional culture.
