Pollen: Development and Physiology focuses on pollen physiology, with emphasis on the living pollen grains, their growth, and essential biological functions. Topics covered in this book include the role of nucleus and cytoplasm in microsporogenesis; the development of the pollen grain wall; the metabolism of pollen tubes; pistil-pollen interactions; and incompatibility. This monograph is comprised of 35 chapters divided into five sections. The first section explores the physiology and biochemistry of meiosis in the anther; changes in the cytoplasm and its organelles during microsporogenesis; and changes in cytoplasmic RNA and enzyme activity during the meiotic prophase in Cosmos bipinnatus. The next section is devoted to pollen development and the pollen grain wall and includes chapters that look at the role of the tapetum during microsporogenesis of angiosperms; dictyosome development during microsporogenesis in Canna generalis; and pollen grain and sperm cell ultrastructure in Beta. Die Nuklearkatastrophe von Fukushima hat eine weltweite Debatte über die Sicherheit der Kernkraftwerke und die Zukunft der Kernenergie entfacht. Während die Bundesrepublik den Ausstieg aus der Kernenergie beschloss und künftig für die Stromgewinnung vor allem erneuerbare Energien genutzt werden sollen, präferiert Polen den Einstieg in die Kernenergie. Bis 2035 ist die Errichtung von zwei Kernkraftwerken geplant. Der vorliegende Tagungsband ist Ergebnis eines deutsch-polnischen Forschungsprojekts über die Energiepolitik beider Länder, welches sich in zwei Fachkonferenzen in Deutschland und Polen widerspiegelte. Er beinhaltet insbesondere Vorträge zu ausgewählten zentralen Fragestellungen, jeweils in deutscher und polnischer Sprache. Die Zusammenstellung gibt einen ersten kompakten Überblick über die gegenwärtige Energiepolitik Deutschlands und Polens unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der gesellschaftspolitischen, ökonomischen und rechtlichen Aspekte und europäischer Vorstellungen. Katastrofa elektrowni jądrowej w Fukushimie wywołała szeroką dyskusję na temat bezpieczenśtwa i przyszłości energetyki jądrowej na świecie. Rząd Niemiec przyspieszył zamknięcie najstarszych siłowni jądrowych i zintensyfikował zapoczątkowaną juz˙ wcześniej transformację polityki energetycznej, zmierzającą do wzmocnienia znaczenia energii ze z˙ródeł odnawialnych. W Polsce natomiast rząd dnia 28 stycznia 2014 r. uchwalił Program Polskiej Energetyki Jądrowej, zakładający wdrozenie energii atomowej, w tym budowę dwóch elektrowni jądrowych do roku 2035. Niniejsza publikacja jest rezultatem polsko-niemieckiego projektu badawczego, realizującego się w dwóch konferencjach naukowych w Polsce i w Niemczech, na temat polityki energetycznej obu krajów. Publikacja zawiera referaty renomowanych polskich i niemieckich naukowców i praktyków z branz˙y energetycznej i ochrony środowiska, a ponadto opinie ekspertów odnośnie centralnych zagadnień, w języku polskim i niemieckim. Eignet sich die deutsche Insolvenzgeldvorfinanzierung als Denkmodell für die Entwicklung einer Sanierungshilfe für zahlungsunfähige polnische Unternehmen? Die Autorin untersucht diese Fragestellung, indem sie sich mit den einschlägigen Rechtsgebieten, dem polnischen Insolvenz-, Arbeits- und Zivilrecht, dem deutschen Insolvenzgeldrecht sowie dem flankierenden Europarecht beschäftigt. Dabei kommt sie zu dem Ergebnis, dass das polnische Rechtsinstitut der Subrogation in Gestalt der Konversion (konwersja dlugu), geregelt in Art. 518 § 1 Nr. 3 des polnischen Zivilgesetzbuchs, für die Vorfinanzierung von Arbeitsentgelten in der Insolvenz des Arbeitgebers als Sanierungshilfe in bestimmten Insolvenzfällen eingesetzt werden kann. Is German preliminary financing of insolvency benefits a suitable conceptual model for the development of a restructuring aid for insolvent Polish companies? The author explores this issue by dealing with the relevant areas of law, Polish insolvency, labour and civil law, the German Insolvency Code and the flanking European law. She concludes that the Polish legal institution of subrogation in the form of conversion (konwersja dlugu), regulated in Article 518 Section 1 (3) of the Polish Civil Code, can be applied to the pre-financing of wages when employers become insolvent to bail out certain insolvency cases.
