En el Partido Socialista Galego (PSG) confluyen tanto los herederos del Partido Galeguista de preguerra, o la vanguardia culturalista galleguista, en sus orígenes, como algunos de los llamados a ser protagonistas de la Galicia democrática, ya militando en el socialismo (a partir de la conformación del PSdG- PSOE) ya en el nacionalismo, liderados por su secretario general, Xosé M. Beiras, cabeza del futuro BNG. En esta tesis se analizan la formación, evolución histórica, prácticas discursivas, estrategias y movilización -en un territorio con identidad nacional propia- del mencionado conglomerado desde el tardofranquismo hasta la aprobación del Estatuto de Autonomía de Galicia. Aplicando la teoría de la movilización y la metodología del análisis del discurso al articulado sobre los derechos por las corrientes marxistas/socialistas y galleguistas/nacionalistas del Partido objeto de investigación y estudiando su condicionamiento por el contexto histórico-político e identitario gallegos contemporáneos, se advierte cómo se engranan, combinan, deconstruyen, desnaturalizan o apropian discursos y prácticas partidistas varias para construir la identidad hegemónica del PSG. La especial atención prestada a dicha construcción y a la utilización de los derechos como marco o herramienta cultural movilizadora y legitimadora, aporta un nuevo enfoque al estudio del Partido Socialista Galego.

This book addresses the relations between Central Europe and Latin America. The scholars primarily focus on the 20th century when contacts between these regions spread and diversified significantly. While in the 19th century, Latin American countries were merely a destination for central European travelers and occasionally emigrants, after World War I, tens of thousands of people came from Central Europe followed by political exiles during World War II. The 1959 events in Cuba were another impulse for the development of these relations, marking the contacts of both regions in political, economic and cultural spheres.
