El libro incorpora de forma ?ntegra y actualizada el Real Decreto-ley 13/2022, de 26 de julio, por el que se establece un nuevo sistema de cotizaci?n para los trabajadores por cuenta propia o aut?nomos y se mejora la protecci?n por cese de actividad. El trabajo actual est? mutando a una precariedad y temporalidad generalizada, pero no debido al crecimiento de pymes y aut?nomos, sino todo lo contrario. Los ?nicos que mantienen ciertas condiciones laborales estables y dignas son los peque?os empleadores: proteger a las pymes y a los aut?nomos es proteger el empleo de calidad. La ley de aut?nomos no es la panacea ni la soluci?n de todos nuestros problemas: no aborda ninguna de las carencias ni defectos fundamentales del R?gimen Especial de Trabajadores Aut?nomos (RETA). Queda mucho por hacer: vincular las cotizaciones a los ingresos reales, abordar la prestaci?n por cese de actividad, conocida como el "paro de los aut?nomos", mejorar las pensiones y resolver los problemas de morosidad y financiaci?n.
