Sardische Sprache, Literatur, Landeskunde, Note: 1, Martin-Luther-Universitat Halle-Wittenberg (Romanistik), Veranstaltung: Italienische Poesie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Thema dieser Hausarbeit sollen die Gedichte Giuseppe Ungarettis Gedichtbandes L'Allegria sein. Ungaretti, der 1888 in Alexandria geboren wurde, studierte von 1912-1914 an der Sorbonne in Paris. Er nahm fur das Herkunftsland seiner Eltern, fur Italien am 1.Weltkrieg teil. 1916 erschienen seine ersten Gedichte unter dem Titel Il porto sepolto. 1919 wurden diese in einer weitere Sammlung unter dem Titel Allegria di Naufragi publiziert. Beide Sammlungen enthielten zwischen 1914 und 1919 entstandene Gedichte. 1931 erschienen diese gemeinsam unter dem Titel l'Allegria. Das von Ungaretti hierbei angewandte Verfahren der Abstraktion bei der Reduktion des Titels knupft an Mallarme an, einem franzosischen Symbolisten, und ahnlich wie bei diesem soll somit eine Annaherung konkreter Situationen an eine absolute Dimension erreicht werden. Ungaretti erweist sich hier nachtraglich, wie bereits in den Gedichten, als fur seine Zeit moderner Dichter und geht technisch teilweise sogar einen Schritt weiter als die franzosischen Dichter der Moderne. L'Allegria konstituiert daruber hinaus in einer spateren Publikation, der Vita di un Uomo, das erste Kapitel, und stellt in einem reflexiven Akt die erste Jahreszeit, den Fruhling eines Mannes oder auch eines Menschen (eine der Abstraktion entgegenkommende Ubersetzung) dar, biografisch wie auch kunstlerisch. Beides, ethische Reife wie kunstlerische Entwicklung namlich standen fur Ungaretti in engem Zusammenhang. Ungaretti selber betrachtete die Sammlung auch als eine Art Kriegsagebuch, was von Orts- und Zeitangaben unterstrichen wird und hatte die Intention, sie zu einer schonen Biografie seiner Person zu gestalten. 1970 starb Ungaretti in Rom.
