Der Autor Friedrich Pfad hat bereits in zwei Publikationen das Leben und Wirken von Helene Elisabeth Prinzessin von Isenburg und dem von ihr mitgegründeten Verein «Stille Hilfe für Kriegsgefangene und Internierte» beleuchtet. Das nun folgende dritte Werk basiert auf vermeintlichen Erkenntnissen der Professorin Alexandra Przyrembel, die sich in ihrem Buch «Im Bann des Bösen – Ilse Koch – ein Kapitel deutscher Gesellschaftsgeschichte 1933 bis 1970» auch mit der Prinzessin von Isenburg auseinandergesetzt hat. So stützte sich die Professorin für ihre angeblichen Feststellungen über Ilse Koch und die Prinzessin von Isenburg unter anderem auf das Buch «Stille Hilfe für braune Kameraden – Das geheime Netzwerk der Alt- und Neonazis» der Lügner und Betrüger Andrea Röpke und Oliver Schröm. Um mehr Glaubwürdigkeit bei der Leserschaft erzeugen zu wollen, berücksichtigte sie ebenso das Buch «Kriegsverbrecherlobby – Bundesdeutsche Hilfe für im Ausland inhaftierte NS-Täter» vom vergangenheitspolitischen Erfüllungsgehilfen Felix Bohr. Dieser Versuch muss allerdings als Trugschluss angesehen werden, da sich der Historiker für seine Beurteilungen ebenfalls weitgehend auf das Blendwerk von Röpke und Schröm berufen hatte. Im vorliegenden Buch zeigt der Autor Friedrich Pfad mit Hilfe einer ungewohnten Vorgehensweise auf, mit welcher Methodik das Lebenswerk der Prinzessin von Isenburg und dem von ihr mitgegründeten Verein «Stille Hilfe für Kriegsgefangene und Internierte» verfälscht wurde. Sachlich und gewohnt quellenbasiert zeigt er ebenso auf, wie auch weitere relevante Ereignisse unserer Zeit auf diese Art und Weise manipuliert wurden.
