Much of the legendary material concerning King Arthur and Joseph of Arimathea's association with Glastonbury is derived from the interpolations into William of Malmesbury's investigation into the Antiquity of Glastonbury, De Antiquitate Glastonie Ecclesia. However, it is William of Malmesbury's mention of the Island of Ineswitrin donated to Glastonbury in 601AD by a king of Devon and this same island's association to the Isle of Ictis discovered by Pytheas, from which tin was sold to the Phoenicians, which links the island to Burgh Island in Devon. Melkin's prophecy indicates that Joseph of Arimathea is buried on Avalon. It is the geometric decryption of Melkin's prophecy which shows us that Joseph of Arimathea, known as a tin merchant in Cornish legend, is still buried on Burgh Island along with the enigmatic duo fassula.

Many have heard about King Arthur legend and the mythical island called Avalon. Historically, the island is never proven to be real but a folklore legend. However, this book supports the claim that the island is real once upon a time. Not only the island is real, it is also the center and ground zero for the two forces of Good and Evil locked in the eternal struggle for domination.

Long before his death, the ancient wizard Merlin created a blood spell to ensure that Avalon would cease to exist the second his blood was no longer present on the isle. Unbeknownst to anyone – even Merlin himself, he had fathered a child and therefore the isle’s existence continued. In modern day England, Connor Evans lives with his two teenaged twins Caleb and Chloe, having fled Avalon after his wife’s death. When his father in law is on his death bed, it is time for Connor to take his children back to Avalon to ensure that the isle would continue to exist and be home to the various magical creatures inhabiting it. Connor is unaware, however, of the various dangers his children would have to face – including a woman who used to be his friend and is now intent on destroying the island in order to set magic free upon the outside world.

An impressive achievement.”—The New York Times Book Review In Marion Zimmer Bradley's masterpiece, we see the tumult and adventures of Camelot's court through the eyes of the women who bolstered the king's rise and schemed for his fall. From their childhoods through the ultimate fulfillment of their destinies, we follow these women and the diverse cast of characters that surrounds them as the great Arthurian epic unfolds stunningly before us. As Morgaine and Gwenhwyfar struggle for control over the fate of Arthur's kingdom, as the Knights of the Round Table take on their infamous quest, as Merlin and Viviane wield their magics for the future of Old Britain, the Isle of Avalon slips further into the impenetrable mists of memory, until the fissure between old and new worlds' and old and new religions' claims its most famous victim.
