Ritornare alle radici della democrazia moderna. Rimettere al centro delle nostre società il valore dell'uguaglianza, che ha animato la Rivoluzione americana e quella francese. È l'appassionato appello di Vittorio Emanuele Parsi, docente di Relazioni Internazionali, all'Occidente smarrito in una crisi economica che minaccia la tenuta del suo stesso modello politico. Una crisi che ha trovato i suoi presupposti proprio nel sistematico attacco al principio di uguaglianza, portato avanti a partire dagli anni Ottanta in nome di una malintesa ed esasperata libertà del mercato. Non c'è nessuna opposizione, invece, tra libertà e uguaglianza, perché "senza uguaglianza la libertà si chiama privilegio". Così come non c'è nessuna incompatibilità tra democrazia e mercato, anzi i loro destini sono strettamente legati. È stato proprio il diffondersi del mercato di massa, infatti, a partire dall'America del New Deal e poi tra i suoi alleati europei nel secondo dopoguerra, a favorire, insieme al benessere, l'allargamento della partecipazione politica grazie all'affermazione della middle class democracy, la democrazia dei ceti medi. Oggi, invece, con il riacutizzarsi delle diseguaglianze, questa classe media tende progressivamente a impoverirsi, e la vita democratica, colpita nel suo baricentro, ne risulta indebolita: un fenomeno che cogliamo con particolare evidenza nel nostro Paese, già gravato dalle sue fragilità storiche, in cui crescono le sperequazioni sociali, aumenta l'illegalità e la politica è tentata dalle opposte scorciatoie della tecnocrazia e del populismo. L'unica soluzione alla crisi della democrazia e al prevalere di una nuova società dei privilegi consiste, quindi, nel riaffermare con forza il principio dell'uguaglianza come garanzia di coesione sociale, come fattore di sviluppo e di crescita, riconoscendone la convenienza economica accanto alla plausibilità morale. Non solo all'interno dei singoli Paesi, ma anche nelle relazioni tra gli Stati, in particolare nell'Unione Europea, oggi sempre meno comunità di uguali e sempre più espressione dell'egemonia tedesca. Dobbiamo ritrovare un'orgogliosa consapevolezza dei nostri valori. Tutte le alternative illiberali alla democrazia occidentale, ricorda l'autore, sono andate incontro alla sconfitta. E lo stesso modello cinese è destinato prima o poi a scontrarsi con le sue contraddizioni e si sta rivelando nei fatti come un passaggio dalla "uguaglianza totalitaria" alla "disuguaglianza totale". Muovendosi agilmente tra storia e attualità, riscoperta delle grandi ispirazioni ideali e documentate analisi economiche, Parsi richiama "quest'Europa disorientata ", epicentro della crisi, al coraggio dei momenti decisivi: solo difendendo il concetto di uguaglianza si potrà salvare la democrazia e l'identità dell'Occidente.

Questa seconda parte di "Visione remota" tratta l'altra parte degli eventi esposti nell'ultimo libro della Bibbia, noto come Rivelazione. In sostanza, la parte futuristica del libro va dal capitolo 4 fino alla fine, il capitolo 22. Una volta che il grande asteroide è caduto (in mare), un'ondata di apparizioni regna sul pianeta per diversi mesi, mentre il potere globale è centralizzato e stabilito in Europa (a Bruxelles), durante un periodo di oscuramento atmosferico. Una volta che il Nuovo Ordine Mondiale, il governo planetario e il suo capo supremo diventano ufficiali, passano 1332 giorni (3 anni, 7 mesi e 27 giorni) - secondo le parole del profeta Ishaiahu (Isaia) prima del suo assassinio - finché Cristo non manda i suoi angeli sulla Terra per rovesciare la Bestia e stabilire mille anni di pace. Gli Stati Uniti scompaiono come nazione e, a causa di disastri naturali, strutture e centri di potere vengono trasferiti, principalmente in Europa. Questi disastri naturali devastano principalmente Roma e devastano la Città del Vaticano. Gran parte delle città costiere scompaiono, così come le isole dell'Atlantico. Viene applicato il modello degli stati del Club di Roma, che organizza il mondo in 10 superstati (tutti i paesi scompaiono come nazioni sovrane). Lo sviluppo di questi 3 anni e mezzo è accompagnato dall'imposizione definitiva di intelligenza artificiale, Big Tech (il Grande Fratello Tecnologico, la cui base sono i sistemi di controllo biometrico e di sorveglianza assolutista e l'eliminazione dei diritti civili e della privacy), realtà virtuale, quantistica informatica e tecnologia 7D ovunque. Yerushalim (Gerusalemme) risulta essere il fulcro dell'Anticristo, che inganna gli ebrei facendogli credere di essere il loro messia. Poi - secondo l'escatologia ebraica - Armilius (l'uomo dell'iniquità, il falso profeta, Belial o l'Anticristo) spinge 70 nazioni contro Israele, mentre i popoli musulmani entrano a piedi e intraprendono una guerra civile entro i confini del Paese. Le nazioni orientali si uniscono al conflitto e scoppia la Quarta Guerra Mondiale, o Guerra di Har-Megid (Armageddon). Le persone che si sono iniettate il marchio della Bestia soffrono di ulcere e dolori lancinanti, a maggior ragione quando le onde di radiazione solare aumentano, e i buchi prodotti nello strato di ozono dall'uso delle armi termonucleari durante la terza guerra mondiale, innescano incendi ovunque. , facendo è impossibile per le persone uscire. La radiazione solare è così intensa che rovina tutti i sistemi elettronici del pianeta e lascia il governo della Bestia completamente all'oscuro. Infine, quando Israele sta per essere distrutto, arriva la Confederazione delle forze celesti inviate da Cristo ed esegue un giudizio contro le nazioni che le hanno attaccate, iniziando la restaurazione del pianeta e un governo di giustizia e armonia. Lucifero ei suoi generali vengono imprigionati, il governo mondiale sciolto e gli artefici del potere mondiale vengono condannati. Tutta questa tesi, tratta dalla Bibbia e da molti altri testi antichi (ebraici e di altre culture), è completata da molteplici profezie e documenti segreti dell'élite.

Più in generale, la crescita della Cina e la rinnovata assertività della Russia sembrano preludere a una nuova fase del riflusso dell’impatto occidentale sul resto del Mondo.
