Une "modernite" de plus en plus pressante et agressive est en train de recouvrir la memoire des lieux anciens et des ancetres du voile de l'oubli ; plus encore, cette modernite provoque leur disparition. Cette etude essaye d'abord de fixer par l'ecrit ce que la tradition transmettait oralement sur les lieux et les gens qui les habitaient, pour proposer ensuite une reflexion sur le discours que les Zenetes du Gourara ont elabore sur leur propre passe.
