The existence of spiritual light is not a new concept. It has been around since before time. My writing upon the subject is not new either. The early apostles wrote about it, Jesus preached it to his followers, and the Bible captured the theme throughout its pages. But the lost message about the light of the spirit has been buried in denominational doctrines, preacher's pet peeves, and theological debates. Without understanding spiritual light, we cannot fully understand the gospel message of God's kingdom. The kingdom of God was the only message that Jesus taught. It was the only message that Jesus commissioned his disciples to preach over two thousand years ago. And it is the essence of this gospel that he expects his followers to proclaim today. So what is spiritual light? Where did it come from? How does it relate to us? And what is so special about its substance? These questions and others will be answered throughout the ten chapters of this book. The concepts of spiritual light were clearly found in first century literature that was written by the apostles and other church leaders and the Bible is filled with verses that accentuate the message of spiritual light. Our lack of understanding spiritual light prevents us from knowing about the spirit realm. It hinders us from fully examining the existence of angels and their purposes. Without the knowledge and understanding of spiritual light, we can't fully understand the substance of Christ or the creation of the universe. And without the necessary insights to spiritual light we can't fully know our own constitutional make-up and thereby miss out on the important aspects of our own reality. The light of the spirit can be fully examined in the spirit realm. At one time it was the only light that existed. And sometime in the near future, spiritual light will be realized as the people of God enter into a glorified relationship with Him. As preachers of the kingdom of God we must re-examine the reality of the light of the spirit so we can preach the true message of God's kingdom.
