Mixed Motives written by Marc Levine and has been published by American Mathematical Soc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998 with Mathematics categories.

This book combines foundational constructions in the theory of motives and results relating motivic cohomology to more explicit constructions. Prerequisite for understanding the work is a basic background in algebraic geometry. The author constructs and describes a triangulated category of mixed motives over an arbitrary base scheme. Most of the classical constructions of cohomology are described in the motivic setting, including Chern classes from higher $K$-theory, push-forward for proper maps, Riemann-Roch, duality, as well as an associated motivic homology, Borel-Moore homology and cohomology with compact supports.

Regenerative Stochastic Simulation written by Gerald S. Shedler and has been published by Elsevier this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1992-12-17 with Mathematics categories.

Simulation is a controlled statistical sampling technique that can be used to study complex stochastic systems when analytic and/or numerical techniques do not suffice. The focus of this book is on simulations of discrete-event stochastic systems; namely, simulations in which stochastic state transitions occur only at an increasing sequence of random times. The discussion emphasizes simulations on a finite or countably infinite state space. * Develops probabilistic methods for simulation of discrete-event stochastic systems * Emphasizes stochastic modeling and estimation procedures based on limit theorems for regenerative stochastic processes * Includes engineering applications of discrete-even simulation to computer, communication, manufacturing, and transportation systems * Focuses on simulations with an underlying stochastic process that can specified as a generalized semi-Markov process * Unique approach to simulation, with heavy emphasis on stochastic modeling * Includes engineering applications for computer, communication, manufacturing, and transportation systems

Feedback Systems written by Charles A. Desoer and has been published by SIAM this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1975-01-01 with Mathematics categories.

This book was the first and remains the only book to give a comprehensive treatment of the behavior of linear or nonlinear systems when they are connected in a closed-loop fashion, with the output of one system forming the input of the other. The study of the stability of such systems requires one to draw upon several branches of mathematics but most notably functional analysis. Feedback Systems: Input-Output Properties includes the most basic concepts of matrices and norms, the important fundamental theorems in input-output stability, and the requisite background material in advanced topics such as the small gain theorem and the passivity theorem. Audience: advanced graduate students and researchers in control theory, dynamical systems, and ordinary and partial differential equations.

Rover Sd1 written by James Taylor and has been published by The Crowood Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-08-31 with Transportation categories.

Rover's big hatchback saloon of the 1970s and 1980s had all the elements of a superb motor car. It was the work of long-standing Rover engineers, with substantial input from their colleagues at Triumph. The SD1's top models even shared their V8 engines with earlier and much-loved classics from Rover. It was stunningly attractive, cleverly derived from Italian supercar styling and still extraordinarily practical thanks to its large hatchback configuration. In this new book, Rover historian James Taylor tells the full story of the SD1, warts and all, from initial concept to final production model. The oft-criticized early models and the more successful later variants are discussed as well as the exclusive Vitesse and Vanden Plas models and overseas and police variants. Finally, for those inspired enough to seek one out today, there is guidance on purchase and ownership. Includes full production histories and comprehensive specification details and is fully illustrated with 200 colour and 70 black & white photographs.

Polynomial Automorphisms written by Arno van den Essen and has been published by Birkhäuser this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-06 with Mathematics categories.

Motivated by some notorious open problems, such as the Jacobian conjecture and the tame generators problem, the subject of polynomial automorphisms has become a rapidly growing field of interest. This book, the first in the field, collects many of the results scattered throughout the literature. It introduces the reader to a fascinating subject and brings him to the forefront of research in this area. Some of the topics treated are invertibility criteria, face polynomials, the tame generators problem, the cancellation problem, exotic spaces, DNA for polynomial automorphisms, the Abhyankar-Moh theorem, stabilization methods, dynamical systems, the Markus-Yamabe conjecture, group actions, Hilbert's 14th problem, various linearization problems and the Jacobian conjecture. The work is essentially self-contained and aimed at the level of beginning graduate students. Exercises are included at the end of each section. At the end of the book there are appendices to cover used material from algebra, algebraic geometry, D-modules and Gröbner basis theory. A long list of ''strong'' examples and an extensive bibliography conclude the book.
