"If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures"(Job 36:11). Did you know that there is only one thing you need to have all your needs met? I mean, just one THING. What is that one thing? someone would ask. Just before that, let's start with what your needs are in broad categories; 1. Food, shelter, and clothing, 2.Health, 3. Fruitfulness/ productivity ( fruit of the womb and work of your hands), 4. Longevity, and 5... (Add whatever you think is not captured by 1-4). Back to our question above, that one thing is serving God. And concerning that, the Bible says, "And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill." Exodus 23:25-26. In Matthew 6:33 the Bible says we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added to us. And do you know what? Beyond all these, is the capital return of Life in Eternity with God; you would live a 'heaven on earth' lifestyle here on the earth and also go to Heaven when your purpose is accomplished. Please compare paragraphs 1 & 2. Is there any need in paragraph 1 that the supply is not provided for in paragraph 2? No employer on the earth can do that for you. God pays the immeasurable, God pays the incomparable, permit me to say God pays the 'un-payable'. On the other hand you are possibly enjoying these blessings already; doing well in virtually all aspects of your life. You have a happy family, thriving career/ business, financially sound with no major health concerns, etc. I congratulate you on this. However, please don't ever think that you are smarter than God. Your lot should rather be to keep giving glory to GOD for HIS mercy upon your life. Now the question is, do you know this merciful God? How could God be doing so much for you, yet you do not care about knowing and acknowledging Him? Did you know that neglecting God is exposing your blessings to the corruption of the devil while acknowledging and appreciating God ensures the preservation and perfection of your blessings? God is very merciful, but he can also be angry at those who refuse to give Him the glory due to Him. Hear this, "If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart"(Malachi 2:2 KJV).Your blessings shall not be cursed in Jesus Name. Now that you know, I believe you are set to give God all the glory thereby sustaining, preserving and perfecting His blessings on your life. The first step to acknowledging God is receiving who he had sent; JESUS CHRIST as the Lord and Saviour of your life. So what are you waiting for? Connect back to God right now through JESUS CHRIST.
