Önemli yazılardan birinde Yener Koç Tanzimat’ın Kürdistan’da nasıl yaşandığını inceliyor. Yener Koç’un çalışması, Tanzimat’la beraber modern devlet mantığının Kürdistan taşrasına nasıl sirayet ettiğini ve Kürt göçerlerin nasıl vergi veren ve asker kılınmak istendiğini aktarıyor. Mesut Ataş’ın “1908 Seçimlerinde Diyarbekir Vilayet ve Sancakları” yazısı ise II. Meşrutiyetin ardından yapılan seçimlerin Kürdistan’ın kalbinde, Diyarbekir vilayet ve sancaklarında nasıl, hangi gerilim ve dinamikler etrafında gerçekleştiğini inceliyor. Geçen sayının dosya konusu 1. Dünya Savaşı’nda Kürtler ve Kürdistan bu sayıya da sarktı. Serhat Bozkurt, ince tarihçilik işi çalışmasında, 1. Dünya Savaşı esnasında gerçekleşen Rus işgali sebebiyle mülteci durumuna düşen Kürtlerin vatandaşı oldukları devletçe maruz bırakıldıkları nüfus mühendisliğini resmediyor. İttihatçıların haşin demografya mühendisliğine dair bu resim Kürtlerin zorunlu iskan üzerinden Türkleştirilmesi işinin Cumhuriyet öncesine uzanan köklerini gösteriyor. Seîd Veroj da Kürtlerce serhat olarak adlandırılan Birinci Dünya Savaşı esnasında gerçekleşen Kürt göçünü inceliyor. Dönemin kaynaklarına dayanarak Kürtçe kaleme alınan yazı Rus işgaliyle beraber muhacir durumuna düşen yüzbinlerce Kürdün İç Anadolu’da ve Musul’da nasıl ölüme terk edildiğini resmediyor. Kürtçe yazılmış bir yazı daha var bu sayıda. Rohat Alakom, İsveç ve Danimarka Şirketleri tarafından 1927-1934 yılları arasında inşa edilen Fevzipaşa-Diyarbakır demiryolu hattıyla ilgili yazısında demiryolu inşasında çalışanların Kürtlerle ilişkisine, Kürt işçilerinin, özellikle de Kürt kadın işçilerinin durumuna bakıyor. Mehmet Bayrak’ın edebiyat incelemesi niteliğindeki önemli yazısı ise Kürtlerin direniş tarihinin ağıt ve kılamlara nasıl aksettiğini gösteriyor. Bu sayıda bir de önemli bir röportajımız var. Vecdi Demir, Kürt tarihi ve siyaseti üzerine önemli çalışmalara imza atmış Cemil Gündoğan’la Kürtlerde aşiret, lehçeler/standart dil, Kürt milliyetçiliği gibi önemli konuları içeren bir mülakat yaptı. Önemli teorik saptamalar ve kıymetli bilgilerle dolu bu uzun röportajın ikinci bölümünü bir sonraki sayıda yayımlayacağız. Bu sayıyla birlikte 4. senemizi tamamlamış oluyoruz. 5. senenin ilk sayısında buluşmak üzere.
