What are The Gifts of Life? Inside this book hides a magical world that is celebrating something special! It’s that time of year where every major city gathers for another Ascension Day. But this year it’s different. Inside, awaiting and resting, are Perry’s powers. On this day, he, his friends and everyone else who lives and breathes, can use their powers through the ceremony of a godlike light. But this day is different! Inside the White City there is an evil army. After the destruction of his home, Perry finds himself lost with his best friend, his sister and their servant, Bailey, an Ever who leads them to safety. Outside, on their journey, the group is forced to use their powers. But as time fades, so does their humanity! Releasing their gifts of life to the world, only leads to mutation. And what was, may never be, but this time it’s different! From the plains of the White City, Kelton Whide, to the forest of the Green City, Everbreen, nature takes its course. And where the Panda talks, a Masked Man mumbles and many white orchids turn to red, what is sacrificed inside this book leaves this magical world truely in awe!

The truth is that most of us never get a chance to make our mark of greatness on the world—which doesn’t negate our basic human desire to find meaning in our story. We all want our lives to matter and for the world to be marked in some small way by our journey. And then there are the questions: how do we hold onto hope when all indicators point to floundering financial futures? How do we feel joy in a society of failing families and facebook-limited friendships? How do we find purpose when just paying the bills has to be our priority? How do we believe when God is silent? How do we know that our lives matter? If you’ve ever asked any of these questions, The Twelve Gift of Life will change your perspective. A collection of powerful, poignant narratives with a punch of humor, these true-life vignettes will help you discover meaning in the midst of the mundane. Buried within even the most challenging circumstances are the gifts of life for those discerning enough to discover and embrace them. Life is not meant to be survival of the fittest. Life is not meant to defeat us. Life is not meant to beat us down. The gifts of life restore us. They give us hope. They give our life meaning. They are meant to be savored. The gifts belong to all of us. Discover them through this inspirational, soon-to-be bestseller.

The Happiest Life written by Hugh Hewitt and has been published by Thomas Nelson this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-01-07 with Religion categories.

What's the secret to a life of happiness? "In this delightful book brimming with humorous and poignant passages, radio personality Hugh Hewitt provides the answer. The starting place is generosity, he says, and there are seven gifts that are sure to improve the lives of both giver and receiver: encouragement, energy, enthusiasm, good humor, graciousness, gratitude, and patience. Anyone can give these gifts, but Hewitt shows that some people are particularly well placed to offer them: parents, spouses, family members, friends, teachers, coworkers, and fellow church members. Channeling his skills as a broadcaster, journalist, lawyer, and teacher, Hewitt weaves stories about these seven gifts and seven givers with inspiring and motivating observations to help readers become generous in the ways that matter most. "The Happiest Life is not simply a delight to read, and not merely a glimpse under the hood of a remarkable man. It’s a map to what Robert Frost once described as the road less traveled—the road that leads to a life of meaning and gratitude and joy.” —Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., Archbishop of Philadelphia "Reading this book is the next best thing to sitting down for a long conversation with my friend Hugh Hewitt.” —Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr., president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary “Wanna be a happier person? Know anyone else who does? What if this book could actually help with that? Cutting to the chase—it can. And it will." —Eric Metaxas, New York Times best-selling author of Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy and 7 Men: And the Secret of Their Greatness
