Se trata de compartir con usted una investigación que, además de sus propósitos evidentes, se plantea en la necesidad de tejer diferentes discursos. Discursos que hoy se encuentran dispersos entre la poesía y el concepto. Entre la experiencia y el conocimiento. Discursos que pueden ser presentados así: El primero corresponde a una versión de la historia que mis pasos recorrieron. Ésa que me fuera dado testificar o escuchar en la voz de sus protagonistas y que, todavía hoy, se encuentra enredada en el cesto donde se acumulan relatos que dicen de acontecimientos, anécdotas y malos recuerdos, a la espera de que pueda encontrar el modo de sacarlos de mí, para retornarlos mutados, al mundo al que pertenecen. El segundo, se erige como una pregunta que fue haciéndose más sólida por cuanto más me internaba en las entrañas del poema trágico. En ese tiempo me hallaba en Domus Teatro, montando una versión de Las troyanas, adaptada y dirigida por Manuel José Sierra. Y la pregunta que insistía rezaba: ¿Lloran las troyanas? El tercero, se anuda con los dos anteriores cuando reconozco la necesidad de detener la acción y enfrentar las demandas del pensamiento: esa necesaria quietud afuera que activa el movimiento hacia las profundidades del alma

"John Paul Lederach's work in the field of conciliation and mediation is internationally recognized. He has provided consultation, training and direct mediation in a range of situations from the Miskito/Sandinista conflict in Nicaragua to Somalia, Northern Ireland, Tajikistan, and the Philippines. His influential 1997 book Building Peace has become a classic in the discipline. In this book, Lederach poses the question, "How do we transcend the cycles of violence that bewitch our human community while still living in them?" Peacebuilding, in his view, is both a learned skill and an art. Finding this art, he says, requires a worldview shift. Conflict professionals must envision their work as a creative act-an exercise of what Lederach terms the "moral imagination." This imagination must, however, emerge from and speak to the hard realities of human affairs. The peacebuilder must have one foot in what is and one foot beyond what exists.
