Foi também professor de Eletrotecnia e Teoria Geral da Máquinas na Escola Emídio Navarro em Almada. Ingressou na Marinha Mercante onde desempenhou as funções de Engenheiro Maquinista Naval nas empresas Soponata e Companhia Colonial de Navegação. Trabalhou nos Estaleiros Navais da Lisnave em Almada, como (ship manager) chefe de serviço de navios, tendo participado ou coordenado nas maiores reparações navais e transformação de navios à época. Tendo-se deslocado para Sines, colaborou com algumas das maiores empresas de anticorrosão industrial, tendo sido o responsável pela proteção anticorrosiva dos tanques da refinaria da Petrogal (atual Galp), do complexo Petroquímico da CNP (atual Borealis), da fábrica de negro de fumo da Carbogal, da central termoelétrica da EDP, das antenas da Profunk, etc. Desde 2003, tem tido intervenção ativa no exercício de várias funções (administração, direção técnica, direção comercial e consultor) em várias empresas sedeadas em Palmela, entre as quais de destaca a Mobilift Portugal, nas atividades de representação de venda e aluguer operacional de empilhadores de grande capacidade e outros equipamentos industriais. “As minhas Musas” é o seu primeiro livro.
