Assim, um feminismo decolonial, antipatriarcal e anticapitalista, é aquele que leva em conta as consequências da colonização nas relações atuais para repensar o feminismo por dentro, obrigando-o a entrecruzar além de questões de gênero e raça, já bem mapeadas pelo feminismo negro, a variável da desigualdade social ligada ao capitalismo. A descrição crua e verdadeira de fatos cotidianos atinge em cheio o que Vergès chama de feminismo "civilizatório", aquele defendido por mulheres "brancas e burguesas" europeias que tipicamente reivindicaram desde os anos 1960 direitos iguais em relação aos homens de sua própria classe, as classes média e alta privilegiada. Para a autora, o feminismo deve ser necessariamente multidimensional, incluindo em sua reflexão raça, sexualidade e classe. A leitura deste texto é uma pancada de lucidez que faz perceptíveis as evidências que nos negamos a ver da opressão normalizada que sofrem milhões de mulheres em todo o mundo.
