The Manual of Tests and Criteria contains criteria, test methods and procedures to be used for classification of dangerous goods according to the provisions of Parts 2 and 3 of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Model Regulations, as well as of chemicals presenting physical hazards according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). As a consequence, it supplements also national or international regulations which are derived from the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods or the GHS. At its ninth session (7 December 2018), the Committee adopted a set of amendments to the sixth revised edition of the Manual as amended by Amendment 1. This seventh revised edition takes account of these amendments. In addition, noting that the work to facilitate the use of the Manual in the context of the GHS had been completed, the Committee considered that the reference to the "Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods" in the title of the Manual was no longer appropriate, and decided that from now on, the Manual should be entitled "Manual of Tests and Criteria".

Inhaltsangabe:Zusammenfassung: Bluthochdruck, ein wichtiger Risikofaktor für Herz-Kreislauferkrankungen, betrifft etwa 15-20% der Bevölkerung in westlichen Industrienationen. Abgesehen von seltenen monogenetischen Formen wird er in über 90% der Fälle durch die Wechselwirkung von mehreren, bisher weitgehend unbekannten Genen untereinander und mit Umweltfaktoren ausgelöst. Ein mit Bluthochdruck assoziierter QTL (quantitative trait locus) wurde in der Ratte auf Chromosom 10 gefunden und BP/SP1 bezeichnet (blood pressure/stroke prone). Diese Region ist evolutionär offenbar stark konserviert und findet sich auch beim Menschen auf Chromosom 17, wo ebenfalls eine Assoziation mit Bluthochdruck nachgewiesen wurde. Durch die Etablierung von congenen Linien konnte BP/SP1 in zwei kleinere QTLs, BP/SP1a und BP/SP1b, unterteilt werden, von denen durch IRS-PCR walking (interspersed repetitive sequence) YAC -Klon Contigs bereits konstruiert wurden. In der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit wurde eine Feinkartierung beider QTLs durch PAC-Klone durchgeführt, d.h. es sollten korrespondierende PACs zu den YAC-Klonen der BP/SP1a und b Contigs gefunden werden. Dazu wurden 37 YAC-Klone aus den BP/SP1a und b Contigs gegen jeweils zwei Hochdichtefilter der PAC-Bibliothek Rat PAC mit 27648 Klonen pro Filter hybridisiert, was etwa zwei Genomäquivalenten pro YAC entspricht. 251 PACs konnten so identifiziert werden. Bei einer anschließenden IRS-PCR lieferten 37,1% der Klone (93 PACs) IRS-PCR-Produkte, die zur Radiation-Hybrid (RH)-Kartierung sowie zur Kartierung über korrespondierende YACs herangezogen wurden. 50 PAC-Klone konnten durch RH-Mapping kartiert werden, davon 33 Klone auf Chromosom 10. Die anderen 17 verteilen sich auf die Chromosomen 1, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15 und 20. Für 66 PACs konnten durch Hybridisierung gegen YAC-Pool-Filter der beiden Bibliotheken Rat YAC und WI/MIT Rat YAC mit zusammen 20 Genomäquivalenten korrespondierende YACs bestimmt werden, wobei pro Filter zwischen 2 und 15 YACs getroffen wurden. 17 dieser 66 PACs konnten zusätzlich auch RH-kartiert werden.
