Einleitung Die Schlagworte der Sach-, Sozial, Personalen- und Methodenkompetenz sind seit einigen Jahren Mittelpunkt beim Unterrichten geworden. Nicht nur in den Kultusministerien der einzelnen Bundesländer wird das Augenmerk auf diese Begriffe gelenkt. Ebenso die Lehrer richten sich nach den neuen Kompetenzmodellen. In meiner Arbeit werde ich zu Beginn näher auf die Begriffserläuterung der Kompetenz eingehen. Dabei soll verdeutlicht werden, welche Folgen der Einsatz der Kompetenzen im Unterricht hat und welche Punkte daraufhin weisen, ob ein Schüler Kompetenzen erwirbt. Im zweiten Punkt möchte ich explizit auf die Sachkompetenz eingehen. Anführen werde ich dabei, welche Auswirkungen fehlende, oder mangelnde Sachkompetenz bei Lehrern auf die Schüler hat. Anschließend wird die Methodenkompetenz allgemein, für den Lehrer und für den Schüler erläutert. Diese Kompetenz habe ich gewählt, weil sich daran gut schildern lässt, dass ohne Methodeneinsatz und Methodenvielfalt vom Lehrer, die Schüler zu keinem steigenden Lernerfolg gelangen. Davon ausgehend, werde ich meine Arbeit mit praktischen Beispielen abschließen. Kompetenzen im Sportunterricht bilden hierfür die Grundlage. Ob im Kindergarten, im Gymnasium oder in der Berufsschule, in allen Bereichen wird sportliche Betätigung vorausgesetzt. Diese basiert ebenfalls auf der Aneignung möglichst vieler Kompetenzen. Der Verständlichkeit und Einfachheit halber werde ich in meiner Arbeit nicht von SchülerInnen und Schülern und von LeherInnen und Lehrern sprechen, sondern diese nur als `Schüler` und `Lehrer` bezeichnen. 2. WEINERT (2002) versteht Kompetenzen als "die bei Individuen verfügbaren oder durch sie erlernbaren kognitiven Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten, um bestimmte Probleme zu lösen, sowie die damit verbundenen motivationale
