¿Fútbol bueno...? ¿Jogo bonito...? ¡Qué eterna disyuntiva...! Me dediqué en este ensayo sobre fútbol a formular infinitas preguntas e hice caso a Pedro González Calero en " Filosofía para bufones" cuando nos contó el caso de aquel ermitaño que gritaba por el desierto: "¡Tengo una respuesta, tengo una respuesta! ¿Quién tiene una pregunta?". No me extraña que el checo Milan Kundera, buen futbolero, llegase a escribir: " La estupidez de la gente procede de tener respuesta para todo". Al parecer, hay muchos portadores del "gen de la estupidez", también denominado "gen Homer Simpson". Los científicos de la Universidad de Emory aseguran que, cuando se desactiva dicho gen en ratones, hace que éstos se vuelvan más inteligentes. Por extensión, veo la necesidad de inventar poderosas herramientas para desactivar el referido "Gen RGS14" en el mundo del fútbol... Y sobre todo, este ensayo se acogió a la misión de diseccionar aspectos del "Fútbol bueno", así como del "Jogo bonito", aglutinados ambos en el "Mundial Brasil 2014" por la Selección alemana que, finalmente, resultó Campeona. Catorce capítulos específicos razonaron este desenlace; así como otras situaciones futbolísticas destacadas de la Liga española 2013/2014 como preámbulo del esperado Mundial brasileño.

También hice caso al fisiólogo Ivan Pavlov: "Nunca pienses que lo sabes todo. Por muy alto que te valores, ten siempre el coraje de decirte a ti mismo: soy un ignorante". Malcolm Forbes me alarmó: "La gente más tonta que conozco es la que lo sabe todo". Luis Alejandro Díaz Zuluaga, doctor en literatura futbolística: "No he intentado todavía escribir sobre fútbol, pero creo que también puede ser muy difícil si no hay pasión". ¿Y quién escribe literatura de fútbol? – "¡Un soñador!".
