Racconto sulla genesi e sviluppo della prima attività apostolica corporativa dell'Opus Dei con la quale ebbe inizio la diffusione del suo messaggio. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer ha diffuso il messaggio dell'Opus Dei fin dalla sua fondazione, il 2 ottobre 1928. Presto formò piccoli gruppi di studenti, laureati, impiegati, artigiani, lavoratori manuali e sacerdoti. Cinque anni più tardi aprì a Madrid un'accademia per l'approfondimento degli studi universitari, l' Accademia DYA. L'intenzione di questo progetto era di trasmettere lo spirito dell'Opera, specificamente agli studenti e ai laureati. Nel 1934 l'iniziativa si ampliò con la creazione di una residenza universitaria, l' Accademia - Residenza DYA, attiva per due anni accademici, fino allo scoppio della guerra civile spagnola nel luglio del 1936. La storia della DYA aiuta a capire la figura di Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer e il modo in cui comunicava il messaggio dell'Opera. Nell'accostarci a quegli anni, ci addentriamo in un periodo appena successivo alla fondazione, ad anni in cui il fondatore riceveva quelle che poi chiamò "particolari luci di Dio".
