Er unternahm die Reise gemeinsam mit seiner Frau und schildert authentisch seine Eindrücke und Erlebnisse in seinem k(l)ein Reiseführer. Hier vermischen sich Reisetipps und -warnungen im unübersichtlichen Tagebuchstil. Das Buch informiert und unterhält aus seinem persönlichen Blickwinkel und grenzt sich somit von klassischen Reiseführern brutal ab. Streng betrachtet offenbart sich zwischen den Zeilen keine Anweisung für einen speziellen Syltaufenthalt, sondern eine besondere Einstellung zum Reisen überhaupt. Einfach am Beispiel von 10 Tagen auf Sylt, dieser einen Nordseeinsel. Als kleinen Extrabonus hat Jakob Klein noch seine Erfahrungen speziell für Radler in einem Sonderkapitel zusammengefasst. Also lesen, am Besten sofort und spätestens danach weiß man, wo man mal gewesen sein sollte und die Sehnsucht an sich ein Ende haben kann.

Es sollte wie immer sein. Das dies nicht sein kann, war auch klar. Es waren einfach unvergleichlich andere Zeiten, damals im Sommer 2020. Aber das, was mir dann passiert ist - man kann sich auch Mühe geben. Oder eben auch nicht. Geplant war eigentlich nur den Urlaub noch durch einen Kurzaufenthalt in meinem Hamburger Stammhotel gebührend abzuschließen. Das war wohl nix. Oder schöner formuliert: Wie wirtschaftliche Entscheidungen im Rahmen einer Krise vom Endverbraucher wahrgenommen werden. Hier habe ich mir meinen Frust vom Herzen geschrieben. Authentisch und vielleicht nicht ganz ausgefeilt. Aber dafür wenigstens für Dich kostenlos.
