In tongue drums with numbered musical notation, numbers 1 to 7 represent the keys of the diatonic major scale. Dots above or below the numbers indicate notes from higher or lower octaves, respectively. Your drum can be numbered from 1 to 8, where 8 corresponds to the note C of the next octave.
