The 36 Karmic Laws discussed in this 4-volume series constitute the Karmic Code put into place by the Creator of the Universe to manage our behaviors, that is, to reward us for our good behaviors and to hold us responsible for our bad behaviors. This volume (Volume 1) describes 16 laws (#1, 2, 8, 12, 16-27) in detail and lists the remaining 20 laws. It is divided into four parts and 35 chapters. Chapters 1-12 discuss a few definitions related to karma, the origin of the concept of karma, and how this concept got associated with spirituality or religion. They also explain that the concept of karma belongs to the whole world and not just to Indians or Hindus even though it originated in India. They explain numerous misconceptions about the concept of karma and discuss how this concept can logically explain many seemingly inexplicable occurrences in everyday life. Chapters 13-23 discuss 7 laws pertaining to individual karmas. These laws answer several questions such as what is our responsibility when someone is trying to do a bad karma in our presence (chapters 21-22) and what kind of karmas can cancel or offset each other (chapter 23).Chapters 24-32 discuss the 9 laws pertaining to karmic accounts which every animate being including humans, animals, birds, and insects has. Each chapter discusses one law and also how to benefit from it. Together they describe various characteristics of a karmic account. They also compare a karmic account in Karmic Bank with a monetary account in an earthly bank. Chapter 33 answers 14 intriguing questions asked by our readers. These questions cover a broad range of topics such as the karmic way of dealing with difficult people or difficult situations in life (Q #6-8), the karmic way to improve the overall quality of life (Q #9-10), etc. In Chapter 34, the author explains how he is using these karmic laws to improve his life. Chapter 35 provides brief information about 20 karmic laws not discussed in this volume.
