Con la presente selección de ejercicios se pretende ofrecer al estudiante que ya posee un conocimiento de español básico un material que le permita consolidar algunos aspectos del idioma ya estudiados y profundizar en el estudio de la sintaxis y del léxico, propio de un estadio superior en el aprendizaje del idioma. En la casi totalidad de los casos, salvo cuando se trata de materias que se suponen ampliamente estudiadas en cursos elementales, precede a cada serie de ejercicios un esquema gramatical que ilustra sucintamente la cuestión que es materia de estudio. El texto se articula en cinco partes: I. ORTOGRAFÍA: 1. Acentuación. Letras de uso dudoso. II. MODOS, TIEMPOS Y FORMAS VERBALES: 3. Formas impersonales del verbo. 4. Formas personales del verbo. 5. Uso de los modos indicativo y subjuntivo. 6. Concordancia temporal. 7. Voz pasiva/impoersonal (se / ellos). 8. Perífrasis verbales. 9. Ser / estar. III. OTRAS CUESTIONES GRAMATICALES: 10. Las preposiciones. 11. Régimen preposicional. 12. Indefinidos. 13. Oraciones de relativo. 14. Pronombres interrogativos. 15. Secuencias temporales. 16. Oraciones restrictivas. IV. PUNTUACIÓN: 17. La coma. 18. El punto y coma. 19. Los dos puntos. V. LÉXICO: 20. Formación de palabras. 21. Locuciones, adverbios, frases prepositivas. Formas que suelen confundirse.
