e-Learning and indeed blended learning are now established integral ways in which education and training are managed and delivered across all levels of education and in the workplace. The International e-Learning Excellence Awards provides an opportunity for individuals and groups to consider new and innovative ways of using this method of learning. The response this year to the sixth International e-Learning Excellence Awards has reflected the continuing innovation being practised in many parts of the world. The events 2020 in relation to the Covid-19 crises driven even more new ideas, some of which are reflected here. Today more than ever Innovation and entrepreneurship skills are desired by both individuals starting out on new business endeavours and to employers. But there has always been an issue surrounding how to teach and learn these skills. Some universities offer degrees or other courses in these subjects, whilst others incorporate these topics in a variety of different degrees. But whatever approach the university takes these topics are quite challenging to teach, and also difficult to research. Courses and modules on these subjects are often quite theoretical and often they neither deliver the practical knowhow required nor do they inspire our students to become innovators or entrepreneurs. Fortunately, some good work is being done in this field in various parts of the world and this annual competition highlights such initiatives. The response this year to the sixth Teaching Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence Awards has reflected the innovative initiatives in place in many parts of the world. With 20 initial submissions and 14 competitors were invited to send in a full case history describing their initiative. The range of subjects written about in the case histories has certainly been extensive and the panel of reviewers had their job cut out for them to find the most interesting case histories and short list them to the finalists published in this anthology. 9 authors or groups of authors have been invited to present their work at the virtual European Conferences on Innovation and Entrepreneurship supported by Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT). The topics which will be addressed are listed in the Contents page of this book.

A comprehensive guide to developing a culture of learning and education within your business. In any kind of organization, learning has become a vital part of the growth and development process, but it only produces effective results if it is pursued strategically and embedded deeply into the culture of the workplace. In recent years, there has been a growing consensus that, for many organizations, learning is their only sustainable competitive advantage – ensuring a committed and engaged workforce that is positioned to identify and exploit business opportunities in an increasingly volatile and uncertain world. This makes it essential for leaders and senior managers to investigate the full range of learning processes and to understand exactly how individual, group, machine and organization-wide learning can produce long-lasting results for individuals as well as for the company itself. Backed by new academic theory, yet designed to be completely accessible to a business readership, The Learning-Driven Business highlights the importance of Organizational Learning (OL) for organizations which wish to remain competitive and profitable, before clarifying the various pathways and frameworks that can lead to success. With the onset of automation and artificial intelligence, as well as the proliferation of redundancies and the economic instability of modern times, organizations and their employees must prioritise effective OL in order to overcome these challenges and remain competitive and relevant in the 21st century. This book is a guide for all business leaders and academics looking to adapt to the changing world through OL, using Garand & Golds' unique and original academic model.
