He married Euphemia Emma Dora Peacock (1871-1940), daughter of Ansel Peacock and Elizabeth Jones, 21 February 1891 in Dublin, Texas. They had eight children. Larkin died in 1944 in Garland, Texas. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Texas.
