"It is a grand thing to be mad" A rich, self-confessed madman meets a poor girl and, wishing to marry her, he puts on a "normal" persona and a fake smile. The girl’s family pushes her into his arms, but when the madman finds out that she is in love with someone else his true colours start to show. Similar to Joker (2019) starring Joaquin Phoenix, A Madman's Manuscript gives us an understanding of the inner workings of a seriously delusional and mentally ill person. Unnerving but very fascinating. Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was an English author, social critic, and philanthropist. Much of his writing first appeared in small instalments in magazines and was widely popular. Among his most famous novels are Oliver Twist (1839), David Copperfield (1850), and Great Expectations (1861).

When they said I had issues, I told them I had subscriptions. Help make this true by purchasing this book series. I recommend purchasing through Kindle. Soon to be made available on iBooks. Contained within are the writings of one Trevor M. Johnson- notably performed during boredom and within various mental asylums, commitment was against his will. Although there are crimes documented within, and discussions annotated, the Author is not possessed of a criminal nature and is very peaceful- but denies that he has a problem controlling his mental actuations. Accused of thought, he prefers to perceive. There are several diagnoses that are applicable and one that is nominally sexist; although, they may be discussed, the diagnoses will not be revealed to the general public. If a person, or groups of persons, were to use these writings for academic purposes then it would be best to remind their reader(s) that these are the journals/diaries of a dissident and unwilling patient. Written as absurdly as possible, these writings are not to be taken as a sample of the author's cognitive skills or as a sample of the author's actual writing- in other words it is supposed to be artistic encryption. Although it could be called childish- an inner child is necessary in order to have real fun and to raise pets or children. They do not express the views of any organization, and completely misrepresent the author. Although some of the content may appear threatening, vulgar, or as a declaration of intent- the author assures you it is not. To be more precise: these books are a diary or journal of events that I have had the misfortune to witness. The opinions are intentionally dissident If there is any information considered sensitive or infringes upon any copyrights, security clearances, idealizations, or viewpoints: we are sorry. If the reader considers any of this information to be offensive: we apologize in advance. More will be forthcoming as I solve issues of format. In some ways the original manuscripts may have been a waste of ink, in others it is positively brilliant and discusses some of the more esoteric sciences. There is much more that could be said for most of this book, and in many ways it is lacking (such as with the large blank areas). However, I think it best speaks for itself- besides this is more chic than begging. Note: These writings were modified at some point without my approval, as such I really see no reason for anyone to sue, press charges against, or pursue any form of litigation against me, my persons, my property, or any other members of my household- unless it is for me against the direct access of materials that are my property. They actually do think it is funny to keep me prisoner without just cause and without actual law enforcement involvement; screw the Republic. I hope you enjoy a look at some of the most randomly weird inscriptions I could create.

Tibetan biographers began writing Jetsun Milarepa's (1052–1135) life story shortly after his death, initiating a literary tradition that turned the poet and saint into a model of virtuosic Buddhist practice throughout the Himalayan world. Andrew Quintman traces this history and its innovations in narrative and aesthetic representation across four centuries, culminating in a detailed analysis of the genre's most famous example, composed in 1488 by Tsangnyön Heruka, or the "Madman of Western Tibet." Quintman imagines these works as a kind of physical body supplanting the yogin's corporeal relics.

A captivating and evocative work, Memoirs of a Madman is one of Flaubert's earliest writings, and forms the basis for his highly renowned L'Education Sentimentale. As a young man looks back on the years that have brought him to "madness," he recalls the innocence of his boyhood and his fond belief that he was blessed with a mind of genius. Yet, painfully, wretchedly, he also recounts his all-too-sudden entry into the adult world. For the day he caught sight of a beautiful woman by the sea marked the end of his flamboyant philosophizing, and the beginning of a tragic coming of age.

The Raiders And Writers Of Cervantes Archive written by Paul Kong and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-12-05 with Literary Criticism categories.

Within the context of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and his influence on Jorge Luis Borges, Manuel Puig and Gabriel Marquez, Paul Kong brings a variety of theoretical perspectives to bear as he analyzes the concepts of the archive and the manuscript. Setting the stage with an exploration of the intricate and intriguing relationship between the archive and the manuscript, Kong questions the apparently natural association between the two. In the light of Kong's historically contextualized and patient exegesis, the ideological nature of the archive, evident in its charge to serve as a totalizing habitat, stands in contrast with the manuscript that resists attempts to contain it. The playful responses of Borges, Puig and Marquez as they mine the "archive" of Cervantes' works support the anti-colonial dimension of Latin American literature and further problematize the relationship between archive and manuscript. The book concludes with a discussion of the future of archival discourse, especially in the setting of the virtual reality of the Internet and of globalization. Carefully grounded by Kong's close readings and supported by a wealth of astute references and allusions to writers as diverse as Virgil, Wordsworth, and Dickens, The Raiders and Writers of Cervantes' Archive is sure to provoke and intrigue Latin American scholars, narrative theorists, archivists, and those interested in issues related to cultural domination, ideology, and cyberspace.
