Low frequency pulses utilized in a radio navigation system can be synthesized and analyzed by a specialization of the general theory of pulse propagation. The analysis technique required to accomplish such a research is detailed, and the introduction of receiver and detector circuits into such an analysis is described. The time-difference dispersion correction, or the "discrepancy correction", for operation of a radio navigation pulse system on either the ground-wave time mode or the ionospheric time modes of propagation is defined.
