The granny knot, square knot, surgeons double loop knot, and Miller's knots are covered with single hand, two hand, and instrument ties. There is descriptive text as captions with the diagrams. Four categories of suture patterns are covered: appositional, tension, inverting, tendon and ligament. The needle driver is very well covered showing vertical and horizontal mattress suturing. It is 44 pages long. This is one of the very best books on surgical techniques. Good buy for the money.

The tragic end of Professor Joshi and Sister Thomas is narrated simply without any histrionics. These stories will touch your heart and make you smile.
