Musée et lieu de découvertes dans le berceau de l'Aéronautique française, à proximité des usines d'assemblages de l'Airbus A380, Aéroscopia contribuera à développer le tourisme industriel et scientifique du Grand Toulouse. Le musée sera réparti sur deux bâtiments. "Avec le bâtiment principal d'Aeroscopia, on s'approche peu à peu de la sculpture", relève Francis Cardete, l'un des architectes à l'origine du projet. L'espace d'accueil de 1 000 m2 sera lui mis en scène. Le visiteur empruntera "un escalator d'aéroport puis une passerelle en verre pour accéder à la galerie d'exposition historique", commente l'architecte. Le design sera sombre, avec une armature apparente et un revêtement en zinc noir.
