This Open Access book presents feedback from the ‘Territorial Agroecological Transition in Action’- TATA-BOX research project, which was devoted to these specific issues. The multidisciplinary and multi-organisation research team steered a four-year action-research process in two territories of France. It also presents: i) the key dimensions to be considered when dealing with agroecological transition: diversity of agriculture models, management of uncertainties, polycentric governance, autonomies, and role of actors’ networks; ii) an operational and original participatory process and associated boundary tools to support local stakeholders in shifting from a shared diagnosis to a shared action plan for transition, and in so doing developing mutual understanding and involvement; iii) an analysis of the main effects of the methodology on research organisation and on stakeholders’ development and application; iv) critical analysis and foresights on the main outcomes of TATA-BOX, provided by external researchers.

C'est dans l'analyse de l'agir communicationnel que résident le sens et la portée des réflexions que Jürgen Habermas a développées et cultivées quant au droit (et au constitutionnalisme). Il faut en conséquence, avec attention et lucidité, examiner cette matrice philosophique et épistémologique, et surtout analyser comment et de quelle façon ont pris naissance ses réflexions sur la question du droit et de la modernité juridique. Il faut obligatoirement comprendre le paradigme de l'agir communicationnel pour ensuite être capable de lire adéquatement et apprécier le rôle de Habermas dans la philosophie du droit contemporain. La théorie de l'agir communicationnel défend un modèle de sujet-à-sujet comme lieu de réflexion critique. Ce positionnement critique prend le relais de l'intérêt de l'émancipation que défendait Habermas avant l'avènement de la théorie de l'agir communicationnel, en se délestant du poids idéaliste et métaphysique de jadis. Habermas exige que les individus trouvent la « valeur » de la modernité juridique dans le mode d'un agir communicationnel, c'est-à-dire qu'autant la démocratie que le droit se confirment ou se nient dans la pratique communicationnelle. Il faut repenser la question du droit pour ainsi le libérer des contraintes dogmatiques qui présentement pèsent si lourdement sur son développement et surtout reprendre le questionnement sur le sens à accorder aujourd'hui à la promesse de l'autolégislation.
