Volevano scrivere dei racconti per parlare di quel ponte? Che bisogno c’era di scomodare Federico II, Giufà, i Siculi, i Bruzi, i miti greci, la sensualità, la cultura araba, la mentalità spagnolesca, la corda pazza, l’Aspromonte, Wojtyla... E quel salto nel futuro non è allucinazione pura? Il vero quesito a questo punto è: Abbiamo a che fare con un’opera frutto di fascinazione poetica o con un progetto difficile ma realizzabile?

Il rapporto tra la poesia e il disegno è più frequente di quanto si pensi soprattutto in artisti particolarmente ecclettici ed estroversi. A volte è un disegno a matita, dal quale si sviluppano le prime righe di una poesia, un primo verso, oppure al contrario è il disegno a nascere in un abbozzo di poesia. Spesso però nascono in-sieme. In questo caso un famoso dipinto, un’immagine hanno generato una serie di poesie. Nel corso di un viaggio in Francia, durante una visita al Louvre, sono rimasta rapita dalla grande tela di Théodore Géricault dal titolo Le Radeau de la Méduse (La zattera della Medusa), un dipinto ad olio di Théodore Géricault, realizzato nel 1818-19 che raffigura il naufragio della barcona fregata francese Méduse, avvenu-to il 2 luglio 1816 davanti alle coste dell'attuale Mauritania, a causa di negligenze e decisioni affrettate da parte del capitano che, oltre a non navigare da circa ven-ticinque anni, non aveva una buona conoscenza di quelle acque, cosa che portò la fregata ad incagliarsi sul fondale sabbioso. Oltre 250 persone si salvarono grazie alle scialuppe, le rimanenti 150, la ciurma, dovettero essere imbarcate su una zat-tera di fortuna.

Avanti così! Vedi Fausta? Tu sei un'artista eclettica. La tua musa spazia liberamente dalla narrativa alla saggistica, dall'attività giornalistica a quella di interprete multiforme e colorata della realtà (penso ai tuoi collage). Sai intervistare le persone che trovi interessanti, gestire riviste o, addirittura, crearne (e penso a Kenavò). Ma c'è una cosa che non ti tradirà mai: la poesia! Ho letto volentieri, come sempre, le poesie che mi hai proposto. Non tocca a me dare giudizi da critico perché non lo sono, oltretutto tu stessa mi hai richiesto una prefazione da lettore. E questo sono io, un lettore. E allora mi limito ad alcune considerazioni senza grande impegno. Alcune composizioni, nella loro forza espressiva, grondano di rabbia e di dolore. Una specie di "lieve pianto poetico" caratterizza alcune altre. Con altre ancora scopriamo immagini più serene. Ma può mai un lettore entrare in piena sintonia con le intenzioni poetiche di chi scrive? Questa comunicazione avviene di rado, anche se nei tuoi versi, Fausta, trovo spesso un flusso emozioni che "arriva" facilmente. Tommaso Maria Patti

È come se la "Ruota" facesse girare la "Forza" e allora la guarigione sarà possibile e questa crisi potrà essere superata positivamente. Soddisfatta? Ci fermiamo qui? Vuoi continuare! Va bene! Vuoi che ti parli dell'amore … Ma che senso ha? L'amore non si può prevedere … Ma si conquista offrendolo. Tu sicuramente già lo sai. Limitiamoci alle carte che abbiamo già visto … Meglio non toccarne altre … chi può sapere quali misteri insondabili andremmo a disturbare?"
