These writings represent a compilation of poetry, thoughts, perspectives, ideas, and viewpoints which are based on where my consciousness was at the time of the writings, and my own limited understanding of things, my truth.I take pride in being able to give an explanation for whatever I claim to believe or understand. I do not just parrot people who are popular. My explanation does not always bring understanding to others; however, I do develop my own understanding from within. I also take pride in my ability to embrace a change in perspective on the spot if I come into a new understanding that makes more sense . . . to me. As a result, these perspectives can change at any time depending on my continued personal growth and evolution as a Divine Universal Human Becoming. Finally, I have no problem with saying "I don't know."There are a wide range of emotions represented in these writings including, anger, fear, disappointment, joy, pain, and peace. I wanted to share these writings because I think it's important for people to know we all go through many of the same experiences and emotions during our personal evolutionary process. Though some of my perspectives may be unpopular, I welcome the opportunity to answer questions about what my thought process was during the various stages of my writings.The main reason I put this book together is to add my perspective to the many perspectives already out there. I did not feel that my perspective was being heard or properly represented. I also share these writings because for most of my life I have had problems sharing my perspective about issues without people who are extremely protective of their beliefs, becoming emotional and verbally aggressive. I understand those who protect their beliefs; however, protecting beliefs and preventing others from hearing a different perspective are two different things. Those who become emotional and protective of their beliefs should just move away from the conversation, rather than turn the conversation into a toxic experience. I have also come to realize that those who are secure and comfortable with what they believe and understand have no problem with hearing other perspectives.My goal with this book is to offer my perspective. People can take it or leave it alone. I have learned personal growth can only take place within an open consciousness. If by reading this book, it opens your mind a little, I have been successful.There are also some things I have not explained or gone into detail about. This is done intentionally. For those of you who ask "What did he mean by this," I say to you "What does it mean to you?"If for some reason you take anything about this book and its contents personal, I suggest you ask yourself why, and then deal with that, rather than take the easy way out and blame me, the writer, for making you feel some kind of way.I am in the process of dealing with the thought methodology that says "You can't take anything in Life - personal . . . Life gon' do what it do', independent of how you feel about it. Either you gon' Live and Grow, or Live to Die Slow - you got two choices . . . deal wit' it, or leave it alone."When we are sharing information, we should never attack the person; however, we should feel very comfortable with challenging, questioning, and even attacking the thought, perspective, philosophy, and idea that person is presenting.Hate is an emotional poison that destroys our kidneys, cardiovascular system, and spirit. Just try living without these components. Ultimately, harboring hate is a self-inflicted punishment or a slow suicide. Let it go.Enemies are declared by people who are incapable of simply recognizing and accepting reality about a person, group of people, or situation. I don't have to declare anyone as the enemy. I just declare people as understood and act like I know.

Hilaire Belloc’s thinking on the economy constitutes, by its originality and acuity, a heterodox approach of the greatest interest in addressing the economic problems of his time and those of our own. Belloc’s main interest as a writer were on economics and history, and his works were praised by economists such as F. A. Hayek or Wilhelm Röpke and political philosophers such as Robert Nisbet and Russell Kirk, but his contributions have been often overlooked. To address that oversight, this book inserts Belloc ́s ideas into the academic dialogue on economics. Despite not being a trained economist, Belloc developed his thought based on a coherent system rooted in original elements such as the scholastic tradition. Belloc’s Christian or “post-scholastic” economics updates and renews many of the scholastic concepts to make them applicable to the economy of the world he knew. This volume offers a new English translation, introduction, and detailed commentary on Sefer Meyasher 'Aqov, (The Rectifying of the Curved), a 14th-century Hebrew treatise on the foundation of geometry. The book is a mixture of two genres: philosophical discussion and formal, Euclidean-type geometrical writing. A central issue is the use of motion and superposition in geometry, which is analyzed in depth through dialog with earlier Arab mathematicians. The author, Alfonso, was identified by Gita Gluskina (the editor of the 1983 Russian edition) as Alfonso of Valladolid, the converted Jew Abner of Burgos. Alfonso lived in Castile, rather far from the leading cultural centers of his time, but nonetheless at the crossroad of three cultures. He was raised in the Jewish tradition and like many Sephardic Jewish intellectuals was versed in Greek-Arabic philosophy and science. He also had connections with some Christian nobles and towards the end of his life converted to Christianity. Driven by his ambition to solve the problem of the quadrature of the circle, as well as other open geometrical problems, Alfonso acquired surprisingly wide knowledge and became familiar with several episodes in Greek and Arabic geometry that historians usually consider not to have been known in the West in the fourteenth century. Sefer Meyasher 'Aqov reflects his wide and deep erudition in mathematics and philosophy, and provides new evidence on cultural transmission around the Mediterranean.
