"In All Women Are Crazy, But Some Are More Crazy Than Others," the authors' thesis, scrupulously argued, is that while relatively few women are, at any one time, clinically of unsound mind, all are, without exception, constitutionally programmed to do crazy things. Influential psychotherapist Dr. Albert Ellis opined that, "All humans are out of their minds - every single one of them." This book builds on that proposition. This is acknowledgedly a controversial book, but it is never intended unkindly. While market research does suggest that men will prefer, overwhelmingly, its presentation over female readers (if any), it is hoped that it may help both sexes to understand better (and tolerate) each other's foibles and whimsies. It is written from a substantial base of practical experience and a thorough grounding in theory as reflected in the cases presented. Any resemblance to any actual female person not yet certifiably deceased is purely coincidental (whether or not the book reference may be taken as flattering). This is decidedly not a self-help book.

Women Are Crazy Men Are Stupid written by Howard J Morris and has been published by Simon and Schuster this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-09-15 with Family & Relationships categories.

THE REVEALiNG, RiP-ROARiNGLY FUNNY GUiDE TO MAKiNG EVERY RELATiONSHiP SMARTER, SANER, AND HAPPiER. Since the dawn of time, when the first smitten caveboy tried to woo the object of his affections by shoving her into the mud, men have demonstrated that when it comes to women, they are profoundly stupid. And when it comes to men, women -- no matter how intelligent or mature -- are completely crazy. Based on this simple yet groundbreaking insight, comedy writers and real-life couple Howard J. Morris and Jenny Lee have devised a relationship guide that is refreshingly honest, completely hilarious, and surprisingly practical. Using their own crazy/stupid romance as an example of these forces in action, they set out to explain why women ask questions that they absolutely do not want answered -- and why men persist in answering them. What are men really thinking -- or crucially, not thinking? Why do women view even the most mundane events through an emotional prism? Why do guys suck at being romantic? And why does every conversation with a woman lead back to whether or not she's fat? Using wit, hard-earned wisdom, and a highly entertaining he said/she said format, the authors explore the surprising method to his dumbness and the valid reasons behind her insanity, while providing real solutions to perennial relationship problems. By teaching men how and why they're stupid around women and showing women how to "control the crazy" for everybody's sake, Women Are Crazy, Men Are Stupid helps couples to reach the place where giving isn't giving in, needing isn't needy, and where the sexes can break the dysfunctional patterns and find a way to live lovingly, happily ever after.

Boys Love Manga and Beyond looks at a range of literary, artistic and other cultural products that celebrate the beauty of adolescent boys and young men. In Japan, depiction of the “beautiful boy” has long been a romantic and sexualized trope for both sexes and commands a high degree of cultural visibility today across a range of genres from pop music to animation. In recent decades, “Boys Love” (or simply BL) has emerged as a mainstream genre in manga, anime, and games for girls and young women. This genre was first developed in Japan in the early 1970s by a group of female artists who went on to establish themselves as major figures in Japan's manga industry. By the late 1970s many amateur women fans were getting involved in the BL phenomenon by creating and self-publishing homoerotic parodies of established male manga characters and popular media figures. The popularity of these fan-made products, sold and circulated at huge conventions, has led to an increase in the number of commercial titles available. Today, a wide range of products produced both by professionals and amateurs are brought together under the general rubric of “boys love,” and are rapidly gaining an audience throughout Asia and globally. This collection provides the first comprehensive overview in English of the BL phenomenon in Japan, its history and various subgenres and introduces translations of some key Japanese scholarship not otherwise available. Some chapters detail the historical and cultural contexts that helped BL emerge as a significant part of girls' culture in Japan. Others offer important case studies of BL production, consumption, and circulation and explain why BL has become a controversial topic in contemporary Japan.

Crazy Salad written by Nora Ephron and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2000 with Feminism categories.

The classic Crazy Salad, by screenwriting legend and novelist Nora Ephron, is an extremely funny, deceptively light look at a generation of women (and men) who helped shape the way we live now. In this distinctive, engaging, and simply hilarious view of a period of great upheaval in America, Ephron turns her keen eye and wonderful sense of humor to the media, politics, beauty products, and women's bodies. In the famous "A Few Words About Breasts," for example, she tells us: "If I had had them, I would have been a completely different person. I honestly believe that." Ephron brings her sharp pen to bear on the notable women of the time, and to a series of events ranging from Watergate to the Pillsbury Bake-Off. When it first appeared in 1975, Crazy Salad helped to illuminate a new American era--and helped us to laugh at our times and ourselves. This new edition will delight a fresh generation of readers.

In this lesson on how to find love when everyone is awful, Jordan West sets out to prove a simple theory: while the ultimate goal for a man is to find that low-level lunatic he can learn to live with, the ultimate goal for a woman is to find that one special asshole that doesn't make her any crazier than she already is. West carefully and comically weeds through the wake of her disastrous romantic past, juxtaposing it against all of our favorite famous couples that have exhibited crazy/asshole behavior. From Sid and Nancy, to the Ken and Barbie Killers, Jordan even drops in to take a stab at the Trumps in this ruthless relationship satire. Maybe you're single and tired of scraping along the bottom of the dating pool only to wind up in a repetitive relationship that leaves you worse off than you were to begin with. Or maybe you're currently in the passenger seat of a relationship that's slowly driving you to the madhouse. All Men are Assholes (...And All Women are Crazy) serves as the ideal guide to help you figure out where you land on the crazy/asshole scale and how to navigate through the herd of ineligible suitors to find that one perfect mate who is just as awful as you are.
