La vidéo Forest Park, Forest Zoo, accompagnée de sculptures, se concentre sur l'architecture vernaculaire de Pennsylvanie, terre natale de l'artiste. La vidéo Joe's Bar s'immisce dans les arrières salles d'un bar, hantées par une collection délirante d'animaux naturalisés. La fantaisie esthétique et l'ironie mordante d'Amy O'Neill se retrouvent aussi dans une série de dessins consacrés aux chalets suisses. Amy O'Neill (née en 1971 à Beaver, Etats-Unis, vit et travaille à Genève et à Brooklyn) exploite à travers ses travaux les bizarreries de sa culture d'origine et de sa Suisse d'adoption et reproduit des situations et des objets du folklore local pour en faire apparaître l'inquiétante étrangeté, reconstruisant le "réel " sous forme de décor. Un travail subtil qui propose, avec une approche à la fois ironique et désenchantée, une exploration critique des relations entre culture populaire, contexte social, mémoire collective et construction identitaire, telles qu'elles apparaissent cristallisées dans des formes ou des objets spécifiques."
