An Insatiable Hunger For God, Resting Is His Gaze is a book birth out of my desire to have a deeper and more intimate relationship with God the Father. My desire is that God gives all who has a desire for Him, a new hunger and passion and that He breathe His Ruach and blow afresh upon each of us. My hearts cry is that He gives us a deeper revelation of who He is and teach us to be a bright and shining light in a dark and wicked world. My prayer is "teach us Lord how to let our lamps shine bright and always having the fresh oil of your anointing." Our desire should always be to have true intimacy and revelation from Him. I pray that every soul that reads this book experience God like never before and they become hungry and desperate for His presence and that He looks upon you as you look upon Him and rest in His gaze. This book is not about religion, it's about have a real true and honest relationship with a loving Father and Savior. The God of the Christianity and the Holy Bible is the God in which I speak. He's the true and living God, He's a loving Father who wants to have a relationship with His children. We come to know Him through the study of His Word, the Holy Bible and spending time with Him in prayer and worship. He's the reason we are here and it's in Him that we live, move and have our being. He loves us so much! In Matthew 5:6 (NKJV), the Bible tells us "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled." Blessed are those who actively seek right standing with God, they will not hunger or lack no good things. When we are in right standing with God, we will be completely satisfied, nothing missing and nothing broken. He will not withhold no good thing from you. We must seek the Lord with every fiber of our being. Seeking Him with our whole heart and giving Him our full attention and obedience. We must pray and seek Him for guidance and direction for our lives and learn how to live and rest in His presence. An Insatiable Hunger for God is all about, how desperate you are for Him.

There is an appetite for God. And it can be awakened. I invite you to turn from the dulling effects of food and the dangers of idolatry, and to say with some simple fast: "This much, O God, I want you." Our appetites dictate the direction of our lives - whether it be the cravings of our stomachs, the passionate desire for possessions or power, or the longings of our spirits for God. But for the Christian, the hunger for anything besides God can be an arch-enemy. While our hunger for God - and Him alone - is the only thing that will bring victory. Do you have that hunger for Him? As John Piper puts it: "If we don't feel strong desires for the manifestation of the glory of God, it is not because you have drunk deeply and are satisfied. It is because we have nibbled so long at the table of the world. Our soul is stuffed with small things, and there is no room for the great." If we are full of what the world offers, then perhaps a fast might express, or even increase, our soul's appetite for God. Between the dangers of self-denial and self-indulgence is this path of pleasant pain called fasting. It is the path John Piper invites you to travel in this book. For when God is the supreme hunger of your heart, He will be supreme in everything. And when you are most satisfied in Him, He will be most glorified in you.

The author of Desiring God reveals the biblical evidence to help us see and savor what the pleasures of God show us about Him. Includes a study guide for individual and small-group use. Isn’t it true—we really don’t know someone until we understand what makes that person happy? And so it is with God! What does bring delight to the happiest Being in the universe? John Piper writes, that it’s only when we know what makes God glad that we’ll know the greatness of His glory. Therefore, we must comprehend “the pleasures of God.” Unlike so much of what is written today, this is not a book about us. It is about the One we were made for—God Himself. In this theological masterpiece—chosen by World Magazine as one of the 20th Century’s top 100 books, John Piper reveals the biblical evidence to help us see and savor what the pleasures of God show us about Him. Then we will be able to drink deeply—and satisfyingly—from the only well that offers living water. What followers of Jesus need now, more than anything else, is to know and love—behold and embrace—the great, glorious, sovereign, happy God of the Bible. “This is a unique and precious book that everybody should read more than once.” —J.I. God Cares More About How You Eat than What You Eat Christians should have their heads on straight about food—but too often our eating is complicated by burdens and rules, by diets and dependencies. So how can we keep a spiritually healthy view of what we eat? Should Christians stop eating white sugar? Does the Bible ask us to go paleo? Most questions about food aren’t really about nutrition but about how we understand God. In Broken Bread, Christian Book Award–winner Tilly Dillehay challenges us to abandon the concept of good and bad foods and instead offers a way to… celebrate food without obsession make healthy choices without bondage to rules feed our families without feeling frazzled find satisfaction without using food as an emotional crutch This isn’t another diet book. You won’t find any system or plan for eating but rather a joyful call to develop a vision of Christ that informs the way you eat. Take delight in food again, and discover a feast for today that whispers of the eternal feast to come.

The Heart Of Man God S Target written by Alfredo Harold Geil and has been published by Xulon Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-08 with Religion categories.

"The Heart of Man; God's Target - Part One" is Harold's autobiography. It is a captivating account beginning with the author's parents leaving Germany at the end of World War I, and settling in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Harold was born and raised. He became fluent in three languages, and at age twenty was drafted into the Argentinean Army. Soon thereafter, he was chosen among thousands as the interpreter for the 1952 Argentinean Equestrian Olympic Team, that toured Europe for seven months. After discharge from the Army, Harold enjoyed working for two international German corporations, where he held several management positions; but political upheaval prompted Harold to fulfill his dream to leave for the USA. Part Two outlines hindrances that prevent Christians from truly enjoying God, by failing to appropriate the power, promises and faith of Jesus Christ. Harold Alfredo Geil is a sincere man of God, who spent years in the corporate world as an electrical engineer. While still in Argentina he married his high school sweetheart, and was blessed with two boys. Later in the USA they were blessed with a daughter. But, shortly before retirement, his wife of 28 years died. Through the pain of this experience, and other hardships, his desire to comfort the brokenhearted increased. In 1984 Harold married Jeanie who shared his vision for ministry. Together they have five children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Harold and his wife Jeanie have been a tangible gift of love to many. In 1995 they founded "Fullness of Christ Ministries, Inc.;" bringing God's healing to the brokenhearted. So, it should be of no surprise that a man, who walks so closely with God, exudes genuine fatherly love; and the preciousness they both manifest, extends into their marriage, and to their children and families.

A Stranger In The House Of God written by John Koessler and has been published by Zondervan this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-08-30 with Religion categories.

Growing up the son of agnostics, John Koessler saw a Catholic church on one end of the street and a Baptist on the other. In the no-man’s land between the two, this curious outside wondered about the God they worshipped—and began a lifelong search to comprehend the grace and mystery of God. A Stranger in the House of God addresses fundamental questions and struggles faced by spiritual seekers and mature believers. Like a contemporary Pilgrim’s Progress, it traces the author’s journey and explores his experiences with both charismatic and evangelical Christianity. It also describes his transformation from religious outsider to ordained pastor. John Koessler provides a poignant and often humorous window into the interior of the soul as he describes his journey from doubt and struggle with the church to personal faith
