Group Theory and its Applications, Volume II covers the two broad areas of applications of group theory, namely, all atomic and molecular phenomena, as well as all aspects of nuclear structure and elementary particle theory. This volume contains five chapters and begins with the representation and tensor operators of the unitary groups. The next chapter describes wave equations, both Schrödinger's and Dirac's for a wide variety of potentials. These topics are followed by discussions of the applications of dynamical groups in dealing with bound-state problems of atomic and molecular physics. A chapter explores the connection between the physical constants of motion and the unitary group of the Hamiltonian, the symmetry adaptation with respect to arbitrary finite groups, and the Dixon method for computing irreducible characters without the occurrence of numerical errors. The last chapter deals with the study of the extension, representation, and applications of Galilei group. This book will prove useful to mathematicians, practicing engineers, and physicists.

Introducing Game Theory And Its Applications written by Elliott Mendelson and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2004-07-03 with Mathematics categories.

The mathematical study of games is an intriguing endeavor with implications and applications that reach far beyond tic-tac-toe, chess, and poker to economics, business, and even biology and politics. Most texts on the subject, however, are written at the graduate level for those with strong mathematics, economics, or business backgrounds. In a clear and refreshing departure from this trend, Introducing Game Theory and its Applications presents an easy-to-read introduction to the basic ideas and techniques of game theory. After a brief introduction, the author begins with a chapter devoted to combinatorial games--a topic neglected or treated minimally in most other texts. The focus then shifts to two-person zero-sum games and their solution. Here the author presents the simplex method, based on linear programming, for solving these games and develops within his presentation the required background in linear programming. The final chapter presents some of the fundamental ideas and tools of non-zero-sum games and games with more than two players, including an introduction to cooperative game theory. This book will not only satisfy the curiosity of those whose interest in the subject was piqued by the 1994 Nobel Prize awarded to Harsanyi, Nash, and Selten. It also prepares its readers for more advanced study of game theory's applications in economics, business, and the physical, biological, and social sciences.

In this paper, concept of possibility neutrosophic soft set and its operations are defined, and their properties are studied. An application of this theory in decision making is investigated. Also a similarity measure of two possibility neutrosophic soft sets is introduced and discussed. Finally an application of this similarity measure in personal selection for a firm.

In this paper one introduces for the first time the IndetermSoft Set, as extension of the classical (determinate) Soft Set, that deals with indeterminate data, and similarly the HyperSoft Set extended to IndetermHyperSoft Set, where ‘Indeterm’ stands for ‘Indeterminate’ (uncertain, conflicting, not unique outcome). They are built on an IndetermSoft Algebra that is an algebra dealing with IndetermSoft Operators resulted from our real world. Afterwards, the corresponding Fuzzy / Intuitionistic Fuzzy / Neutrosophic / and other fuzzy-extension IndetermSoft Set & IndetermHyperSoft Set are presented together with their applications.

This book deals with expert evaluation models in the form of semantic spaces with completeness and orthogonality properties (complete orthogonal semantic spaces). Theoretical and practical studies of some researchers have shown that these spaces describe expert evaluations most adequately, and as a result they were often included in more sophisticated models of intellectual systems for decision making and data analysis. Methods for constructing expert evaluation models of characteristics, comparative analysis of these models, studies of structural composition of their sets and constructing of generalized models are described. Models to obtain rating points for objects and groups of objects with qualitative and quantitative characteristics are presented. A number of regression models combining elements of classical and fuzzy regressions are presented. All methods and models developed by the authors and described in the book are illustrated with examples from various fields of human activities. This book meant for scientists in the field of computer science, expert systems, artificial intelligence and decision making; and also for engineers, post-graduate students and students who study the fuzzy set theory and its applications.

Graphs allows us to study the different patterns of inside the data by making a mental image. The aim of this paper is to develop neutrosophic cubic graph structure which is the extension of neutrosophic cubic graphs. As neutrosophic cubic graphs are defined for one set of edges between vertices while neutrosophic cubic graphs structures are defined for more than one set of edges. Further, we defined some basic operations such as Cartesian product, composition, union, join, cross product, strong product and lexicographic product of two neutrosophic cubic graph structures. Several types of other interesting properties of neutrosophic cubic graph structures are discussed in this paper. Finally, a decision-making algorithm based on the idea of neutrosophic cubic graph structures is constructed. The proposed decision-making algorithm is applied in a decision-making problem to check the validity.
