La protección de la jubilación ha experimentado, desde sus inicios, diversos ajustes con el objeto de adaptarla a la realidad económica y social. Las recomendaciones de organismos de la Unión Europea e internacionales resaltan la necesidad de optimizar los recursos humanos en el mercado de trabajo, aprovechando el conocimiento y experiencia de las personas trabajadoras de mayor edad y, sobre todo, la conveniencia de que las personas trabajadoras permanezcan en activo tras el cumplimiento de la edad de acceso a la pensión de jubilación. Una de las medidas más eficaces para lograr estos objetivos es la flexibilización del régimen de compatibilidad entre trabajo y pensión. La obra aborda el estudio de este régimen de compatibilidad a través del análisis de las distintas fórmulas legales que permiten que las personas trabajadoras puedan recibir al tiempo la pensión y las rentas derivadas de su trabajo. En particular se estudian en detalle, las modalidades de jubilación que permiten compatibilizar el trabajo y la pensión: la jubilación parcial, la jubilación flexible y la jubilación activa. The emergence of online digital labour platforms has been one of the major transformations in the world of work over the past decade.
